Hey everyone. I got home tonight and my fiancee surprised me with tickets to this Friday's show at Club Fever in South Bend, Indiana. Anyone ever been there before or going to this show?

My story...

The night started off great. Heading towards the South Bend Chocolate Factory to get a $6 per slice piece of cheesecake, we passed bassist Eric on the street talking on his cellphone. That's the closest I had been to any of the guys in the band. The cheesecake was great, and then headed to stand in line to get in for about an hour and a half. Got in, watching Black Stone Cherry and they seriously kicked ass. Way too short of a set due to opening, and should have definitely came after Theory of a Deadman - who seems to only sing about bad relationships. Then comes Shinedown. About 10 feet away and they rocked! Opened with Devour, then Heroes, then I Dare You, then Cyanide, then... some punk hits my fiancee in the nose. She's in the restroom tending to her bloodied nose and I go looking for that guy to try and make myself feel better for what he did. He was no where to be seen so I go up front looking for a security guy just to let him know that that guy would probably start something else elsewhere. While I was up there, I guess I was too close to the band's gear as I was trying to get the guard's attention and one of the roadies/techs got on me and told me to get out of there.

Shinedown sounded fantastic - Much better than what I remembered. Unfortunately, the night was cut too short. So if anyone in the band sees this - Zach, I know you're on here - a few VIP or something passes for an upcoming show would be nice.

It was definitely a GREAT show!!!! Sucks you couldn't stick around after the show cause all the guys came out and signed stuff for people...well, Brent didn't come out till around 2am...lol But it was so worth waiting for him.


Sorry about your fiancee...the crowd was crazy...shit Brent even stopped the show at the begging of their set cause the crowd was pushing so much...glad I left the middle and went to the side...lol

Damn!! That sucks. I had even said earlier in the night I wanted to stick around and hopefully get to meet them. We were standing on the side when she got hit in the nose, so yes, it definitely was a great crowd. Now I'm pissed.

Me too... if the other half hadn't been bleeding I would have been there!

Does anyone have a audio bootleg of this or any of the shows from this tour? Or know where to find one to download or trade?

I would have but it they said no cameras but my friend and i could have taken our cameras in...DAMN IT..wish I would have known!!!!
