AMAZING show, it was unreal. The Sold-Out concert @The Webster Theater in Hartford, CT was one I'll never forget. It was my third Shinedown show. I got to meet Brent, Barry & Jason before the show (Brad was still sleeping).

Halestorm was awesome... again. I really hope they make it big one of these days because they are great to the fans. Lzzy & the guys know how to get the concert going.

Evans Blue in my mind weren't very good. Hopefully they go first @Krockathon...

Trapt was great. I love Echo & Still Frame. They were a lot better then when I saw them @Krockathon last year. I would def see them again if they come around town.

SHINEDOWN was unreal... you all know how good they are live so I'll make it short & sweet. Brent gave some great speeches before lots of the songs that made the concert even better. I can't describe how much they influence me and motivate me to be a better person. Shinedown will always be my favorite band and thats all I can say... This is the set list and some pics from the night.

Fly From The Inside
Left Out
Yer Majesty
Trade Yourself
I Dare You
Simple Man
Begin Again
.45
Heroes
Burning Bright
Save Me

I was at the webster show too! Halestorm was really great. Their songs were heavy yet melodic and very original, loved them. they did a great drum jam which i enjoyed. I bought their cd and met them and they were probably the nicest band i've ever met (theres been a lot of them.) Lzzy is pretty hot as well...show started off great. (When i left after the show they were still signing autographs!)
Next Evans Blue played and was absolutely terrible. How is this band playing after Halestorm??? The singers voice not only was high and annoying but he often sounded off pitch. their stage presence was terrible as well, they just bounced around awkwardly. im amazed they got as much of a reaction as they did eventhough it wasnt much of one.
Trapt came on next and had a great show. the setlist was great and the lighting and sound were perfect. their drummer was really impressive. the singers voice sounded just like on cd. i've heard they are boring live but i must say i was impressed with them.
SHINEDOWN then came on. It was my seventh time seeing them and it was the best yet. it was almost exactly three years since the first time i saw them and it was great to see them go from opening for powerman 5k in 2003 to selling out the webster. They opened with fly which i really liked as an opener and the crowd immediately started singing and going nuts. One thing that Brent did that i dont really understand is he divided the crowd for a wall of death. no one in the crowd knew what to do, but my point is its not a lamb of god concert, the pits were not very intense and it seems like brent was encouraging somethign that just wasnt gonna happen. (I've seen them do this three times and every time it gets a weak reaction.) Im all about getting in the pit, but i really dont think a shinedown concert is the right place for a wall of death. dont get me wrogn the energy and intensity levels are high but its a different atmosphere than a death metal show. anyway the boys had a good laugh at the crowd when they didnt run at each ohter during begin again but thats ok. Burning Bright was nice to hear since the set lacks material from the first cd. I wish they would change the setlist up a little, although im sure they will for the godsmack tour. Better version, in memory, and lost in the crowd are songs that i feel they should be playing, hopefully they will eventually. finally, save me sounded incredible and the crowd was probably as loud as i've ever heard it at the webster. Great show in all as we've all come to expect from shinedown. i know i had some complaints but it was a great time and thanks shinedown for stopping in Hartford!

It all depends on the venue and the fans. Out of all the SD shows I've seen, whenever I go to one in Orlando and Brent parts the crowd, everyone goes absolutely insane! What a crazy experience! So, not to be mean, but if it didn't go over well for you guys, then it's the crowd's fault. Not theirs! lol Enjoy it next time! Smiler

Donna I believe the boys just envoke so much emotions that we cannnot help but let it all out. We want to share the beauty of what we have seen with everyone. So they might enjoy it as much as we have. Her's the thing I don't think I have seen another board that will pour out such lengthy reviews of a show. I love it!
