I was at the Reno show also, with my husband and three kids (2 girls, ages 9 and 7, boy, age 3½ – all my kids love Shinedown too). We were in the second row of tables, in the center, not far from the disturbance, but I couldn’t make out what was happening. Brent really handled it with class though. We actually drove 5 hours all the way from Medford, Oregon to see the show – even though they played Medford two days after the Reno show (Monday nights don’t work for us, and we wanted to see them in a better venue than where they were playing here – it was definitely much, much better and well worth it!). The concert was amazing – all the bands were great (okay, I wished I could bleep out some of the words used by Sick Puppies and Adelitas Way, since my kids were there, but oh well...) Brent just owned the room – he talked to us a lot, and stared at us with that Ozzy look he has, really intense, but other times his smile would light up the room and you could tell how much he appreciates his fans. I loved the grin of wicked delight that spread over his face when he asked the audience to raise their hands if it was the first time they had been to a Shinedown concert (I just can’t believe that the last time they played Reno – last year after the latest album was released – they only had about 100 people in the audience, but that’s what Brent said!) I’m really glad the show sold out that night, and I’m surprised a lot of their shows don’t sell out right away! I have no idea if the Medford show sold out, and haven’t heard anything about how that concert was, so if anybody has any news about it, I’d love to hear it. And one more thing – their selection of t-shirts was the best I’ve ever seen! Great quality too!

It was great to hear from someone else who was at the Reno show. And all the way from Medford. I used to live in Springfield and I sure miss it! The only disappointment for me that night was the absence of cellos or violins which I hear alot in their music. And I would of loved to see Brent without the black jacket. I love the tattoos and was hoping to see them in real life. hehe.
your ceiling falling piece by pieces, raining down like concrete, just surrender, and remember what youve done to me.
