I'm making the trip from Rochester, NY! (7 hours) Sounds like a great line-up! I'm looking forward to Shinedown, Candlebox and RED the most! My 4th SD show this summer & 8th overall!

I'm going, and I'm pumped... Red is amazing, and Shinedown of course. I was getting excited to A7X, but they cancelled and replaced them with Hinder and Theory of a Deadman. I can see theory again, but not to excited for hinder... i'm kind of upset. I'll be coming down from Utica, NY, its about 9 hours from the venue. so, eat that cnyrunner14.

yesterday will go down in my history as the worse concert experience of my life.x-fest sucked. this had nothing to do with the bands mother nature decided to reek havoc on x-fest. the wind was blowing so hard all day that we were covered in sandy dirt all day. we did get to see 3 bands. then we went to the Shinedown meet and greet which was ok but the wind was so bad at this point the tent was about to blow down and we were rushed through pretty quick. we then went to get our spot up front for Shinedown when the clouds grew dark and the winds actually blew some equpiment off the stage. just as Shinedown was suppose to come on they came out and cancalled x-fest saying everyone had to leave the situation was getting dangerous. it took us almost 2hrs to get out of the parking lot all the while trees were blowing down around us and power lines looked like they were going to fall. it was very scarey. we live 1hr from this venue and it took us nearly 4 hrs to get home counting the wait in the parking lot. they say they may try to have some of the bands come back, so we will see.there is lots of destruction here, but at least we are not as bad as the people in Texas. i feel bad for all you guys who drove 7 hrs. here's the good part nobody got hurt and hopefully we will get to see our boys again soon and next will be awesome.

I was very disappointed when they canceled the show right before Shinedown was about to come on, but i would rather see them another time than to have them go on stage and get hurt or killed. Another disappointment is Red's bus got a flat and they were running late. They ended up not playing at all. The 2 bands I had gone down there for was a no go. But I did meet Shinedown at the autograph booth. They remembered who I was and seemed like they were pretty excited to see us. They knew how far we had driven. Thank god nothing bad happened. The storm was INSANE and I really feared for my life. I ran into Eric after they had canceled the show. I was able to talk to him for about 3 minutes. He seemed really bummed about the situation. I'm not upset that they canceled. But, it's very disappointing. I'm sure I'll get to see them again soon.

We drove 7 hours from WNY to attend X-Fest 13; with my 7yr old, Jacob, who is a huge fan just to see Shinedown. We were 6 minutes away from our 1st SD experience....they shut the event down due to high winds. We had just walked through the gates; so we were totally screwed: We heard nothing, saw nothing, are out $140+ for tix, didn't even get a t-shirt to commemorate the day. It was by far the worst experience we have endured ever and the most disappointing to date. We missed the Cleveland show in August because I had to work; my son is convinced that he will never see Shinedown. I can only hope that they add more shows in our general area; I hate breaking promises to my son--he's worked so hard scholastically to earn this reward.

This past Sunday is a day I won't surely forget. I was SUPPOSED to go to Xfest like many others. Shortly before I was to leave I found out how bad the weather was going to be. I walked out my front door and was almost blown over. Not to mention about clobbered by a fence that was falling down. I come back inside right as the power went off. Trees were blowing almost side ways then the sirens started. Next thing I know the lights go out. My neighbors and I were trying to put the fence that had fallen in a safe spot so it wouldn't do any damage. Let me tell you I have NEVER felt wind so strong in my life! Then I started hearing loud crashes from the back. The storm sirens never went off during this whole time. I got a call from my brother (a local fireman) informing me that all hell had broken loose. There was TONS of downed trees and powerlines all over the area. People had trees falling on thier houses and cars. It was only after hearing the news later did I find out that we had CATEGORY 1 HURRICANE FORCE WINDS. At 1 point over 90% of the Duke Engergy customers were without power.(In at least 4 counties.) I was without power for 3 days and others have been without power and water for almost a week. It truly feels like a bomb went off down here. Many people are trying to recover from this freak storm. Hek it's Ohio, we aren't supposed to have this kind of wind. It's completely understandable why they cancelled the show. Everyone's safety was at risk. So be thankful that you were able to get out safely. It's honestly, not worth the safety of so many lives for a rock show.

I am here in Louisville and the next day I woke up to the radio and at one point they were like "yea and X-Fest in Dayton had to be canceled." Me being a fan and being originally pissed I had no way of getting there I immediately knew Shinedown had been there and originally freaked out. Glad to hear everyone was safe though. The wind was a bitch, still 100,000+ here without power. I finally got mine back...

Hey everyone,

They have announced that your tickets can be exchanged for the Jagameister Tour to will be moved to December 15 at the Nutter Center in Dayton. Trapt, Hinder, Shinedown, Red and Rev Theory are listed right now.

Those of you out of town that are not looking at coming back to Dayton I might be interested in buying your Xfest tickets. Let me know if you are interested.
