HOLY CRAP!!!!! So this was my 30th show(no, I'm not a stalker...Brent says I'm not..lol) And this has got to be my favorite show. Maybe it's cause I got to experience it with my 13yr. old niece and my oldest brother. But damn the boys put on one hell of a show despite the the heat..though it was in doors it was still really HOT!!!!!

So before the show my niece, my brother and I got to hang out with Eric in the coffee shop next to the venue...where my niece almost hit him in the head with a gum wrapped..lol He laughed about and said at least I would have remembered easily..lol
It was kind of weird seeing just 2 bands play but it was all worth it!!!! Black Stone Cherry was AMAZING..they played 2 new song off their new album which is in stores Aug. 19th..you should so go get it!!!!

Then when the guys took the stage...the crowd went CRAZY!!!! Though I was kind of getting alittle pissed cause there were some really drunk guys around me and this other guy brought his young kids and my niece was next to me and the drunk guys kept being a$$es...we were even standing to the side of the stage, too..like their gonna get any closer to the band with 20 people standing in front to them...oh well...me and like 5 other people protected the kids..lol and they had a great time!!!!! But after the show I took my niece and brother to meet the guys. It was cool..they were so sweet to my niece. She didn't have anything for them to sign so when we went to Taco Bell for lunch she grabbed some sauce packets and the guys actually signed them for her..LOL!!!! NO ZACH..they won't be on ebay!!!!!! I won't let her do that. But my favorite part of the night was when my niece met Brent...LMAO!!!!! She told Brent and ED(SD's tour manager) that they scared her..LOL!!!! Brent maybe I can see why with the eyeliner and what not..but not Ed. But anyways..Brent laughed about it but when I took her pic with him..I told her not to look so scared..she started to walk away and Brent grabbed her arms and said 'Don't be Scared' she jumped so high..it was great!!!! I love Brent!!!!! But I got some really great pix..not just saying that cause their mine...Zach and Eric even thought so..lol But I will post them when I have the chance gotta edit them first and I think I have like OHHHH 80+ of Shinedown...sorry I get picture happy some times!!!! It was an amazing night and I can't wait to see them again!!!!

Wow. Is there any other word for the show I just witnessed?

How freaky did Brent look with the yellow light only lighting up the bottom of his face while he examines the crowd side to side? That was sweet.

Lisa, let me know when you get your pictures up. I want to see something.

It sonded f'in amazing...Chris is a great singer..with him and Brent singing together...it sounds so good!!!! Chris sings the second verse of the song.

I am hopefully going to watch Black Stone Cherry here in Louisville on August 21. They are playing a free show here to promote the new album seeing they are from Kentucky! I am hoping to meet them.

Thank you very much!!!! The pix torward the end I turned the flash off and they turned out so much better...the flash didn't capture the smoke as much.

You can also defog in photoshop and increase the exposure if they are too dark without flash. Without flash is usually the way to go. I usually do some of both too though.
