Any idea about what time it's going to be over? I saw them at the meridian a few decembers ago, and I can't really remember back that far. Only reason I ask is I'm catching a flight to Paris 8 am Tuesday morning in San Antonio. That's going to be quite the fun drive back haha.

hey jess it will probably be over by like 12am or 1230am. i went to a SD show last year and that's about the time it finished. i left at about 1130 because i had to catch a greyhound bus at 12am. lol. otherwise i would have stayed for the whole show. but that's usually when it ends. i had a buddy call me when the show was over and he was telling me how much i had missed out on. i'm going jun. 24th in pharr texas i'm not leaving early this time. lol.

IDK when it'll be over but I do know Ill be there bright and early and good God is it going to be hot tomorrow!!! Bring your coolers for before kiddos its going to be a fun one. Hopefully someone gets there roughly when I do Im gonna need someone to hold my place lol

Call the venue and ask what time the curfew is for the headlining band.

OK ladies and gents this is going to be yet another good review for the boys but FIRST... in all seriousness if youre a Rev Theory fan or not this is kinda important. I was out by the venue talking with 12 stones drummer before the show and that Rich(singer for Rev) had a pinched nerve in his neck and caused an irregular heart beat. Rich apparently at that time was still in the hospital. When I asked Zach about it later that night he said Rich was supposed to have surgery that day so hopefully we will have an update soon. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers .
OK thats my small spill on that lets review shall we. It was pretty much amazing for lack of a better term. I had never seen them use this many lights in a show and so it was different(good) really gave the show a lil something extra. The setlist more or less was the same as what Tanbull posted from ATL maybe mixed up some but no Junkies. HOWEVER THEY TOOK IT BACK TO LAW. They started a intro and I thought no surely not and then it kicked in and fuck yes they did it they played LEFT OUT. IIIIII LOSSSTTT IT!!! It was so good to hear that live again. Went out and talked to they guys as always after the show and were they surprised to see me from NC haha. Brent apparently ordered pancackes before the show and said that was a mistake lol. They all took time out to talk to me and seriously gave me some of the biggest compliments that they can give a fan (and in no way am I bragging please dont take it as that, I was just moved by what they had to say). All in all it was a great show and the new stuff, if you havent seen it live, youre going to shit yourself when you do. Oh yea I also met some more boardies which is always fun =) Tahnk you very much Ill be here all week =) oh yea San Antonio tomorrow!! Pictures to be up soon boys and girls

Good review, Matt! The lights were definitely intense, but I loved it!

Here's my little review for the night~

I was definitely really bummed to not see Rev Theory take the stage.. I didnt find out till after the show about how they had to cancel. They had an acoustic show earlier that day I didnt know about also, but I guess it didnt matter since they cancelled. :P
This was my 3rd time seeing 12 stones, NOT by choice let me add, they just happne to be on my fav. bands' tours. :P Unfortunatly, that is. haha Im not a fan, sorry. Their set felt like it lasted forever too...it might not have but then again its possible because of Rev Theory cancelling and stuff.

It was such a relief when Shinedown took the stage! I managed to get quite a few pictures and also some video~ the beginning of the show with a part of Devour, "If You Only Knew" with Brent talking about his wife's phone call in the beginning, and I didnt mean to, but I also got a clip of him introducing everybody onstage. haha And some of "fly.." also..I might have recorded more, im not sure. Its taking forever to transfer to my computer so as soon as I get that up i'll post it.
I had already met Brent and Eric from the AR show I went to on Saturday (I'll post a little review later) but this time I got to meet them all which was really cool. And since I got my pre-order bundle in the mail earlier that day, (one day earlier than the release!) I decided to bring my cd cover with me to get signed. Apparently though, in the bundle there's 2 cd covers, one thats in the case, and one separate one that's autographed..I guess I was so excited that I only pulled out the cd and the shirt.. and since the cd cover wasnt signed, at the show I told Barry about it and he said that he'd take care of it and how that really makes him mad because he was on tape signing a whole bunch... haha So..WOOPS! lol I feel bad now, but I wonder if that actually DID happen to anybody else.. I saw that Zach posted a bulletin about it so who knows..

OH YEAH! and I have to mention how RIGHT after the show when everybody was starting to leave, I was gonna see if I could get the setlist and this woman comes up to the rail all angry, yelling at anybody on the stage that would hear her, calling them rude names trying to get their attention..so I asked her what she wanted to ask them and she said, "They didnt play Simple Man! " And said she wanted to know if they were gonna come back out to play it. I told her that they dont play it out of respect for Jasin.. She started to ask questions about why when her husband was all, "What are you doing?!" lol Ugh...people.

Anway. Met all the guys after the show as well as Cindi and sdzofmadness from the board. I thought it was really awesome of Brent to spend time talking to everybody even though there were soo many.
...I want really badly to go to San Antonio tomorrow but I dont have a ticket yet and im afraid it'll be sold out by the time I get there. Its only about a 3 hr drive but still... im not sure.

Hope all that wasnt too long...I'll post pics and video from this show hopefully soon. ( I got a lot. haha )
