The show was great . I got to talk to everyone except Nick . I finally got to show Brent my tattoo and to let him know it was for him since he is my guardian angel . He told me how much that meant to him and then gave me a hug . My family now agrees with me that they are the nicest guys you will ever get to meet !! Don't ask me for a set list cause after hugging Brent I can't remember shit. They just keep sounding better everytime I see them .

***As Brent stated, THE FIRST TIME PLAYED BEFORE A LIVE AUDIENCE!

There was SO MUCH ENERGY on stage tonight. Man alive, all the guys were on fire, giving it their all! What an awesome show.

Oh and the band had a M&G way on the other side of the grounds at 6:30pm at the event's M&G stand. I didnt know for sure if Id have a chance after the show to meet the band (since a lot of times security rushes you out of there) so I took this opportunity. Everyone showed up except Brent. When I asked Barry where he was he said he was resting his voice since they had a long flight. *sigh* All the guys were awesome, as I knew they would be. I had them sign my black SoM CD and a poster I got since I bought a Shinedown DVD.

Fast forward to after the show.

It didnt take long before, one by one, all the guys came out. WOOT! I managed to get Brent's signature to go with the others and took pics with all the guys. DOUBLE WOOT! HEHE (you couldnt really take pics with the guys at the M&G earlier)

What an awesome night! Cant wait to do it all again at AugustFest!

I took some pics during the show, but because of the M&G, by the time I got to the stage, the 5th row bleacher was as close as I could get. Which, was not bad for watching the show, but not so good for taking decent pics. We'll see once I go thru them.

Oh and tonight was the first time my 15 year old son saw Shinedown (he's seen other bands before). He said it was amazing. Even better, he brought a friend along. This was his friend's VERY FIRST CONCERT EVER! When I asked his friend after the show what he thought of seeing Shinedown live, he said, "Purely Amazing!" He also mentioned Shinedown was his new fave band!

They also both met the band at the M&G and again after the show. They also got pics with the band. My son even ended up with a guitar pick and gave it to his friend since it was his first concert ever! Very cool. I think I may have some Rock N Roll Junkies on my hands now! HEHE

Just got back from our first Shinedown show, WOW! 7 songs off the new album and they all really kicked ass! I thought that Fly from the Inside and Left Out were almost better live than recorded, they really hit it hard. The place was just packed full on Shiners, what a great experience for me and my family. Can't wait to see them again, thanks for everything.

i really missed out that is a badass set list. anyone get sin with a grin live vid? or any vids from summerfest?

They were on fire! Best live performance of The Crow and the Butterfly I've ever seen. Brent came down off the stage and sang right on the rail. Words cannot describe the intense passion and conviction he sings with. The energy resonated straight through me and brought me to tears!!!! They just keep getting better and better. I'll be counting the days until band camp, Greenbay, and Greys Lake. And thanks so much for all the midwest dates. I have some good pics. I'll try and get them up later today.

I bought tickets for Green Bay 1st thing yesterday when I got up . Where were you Saturday night . I was 2nd row in front of Zach .

Still wrong but close. The girl with the plastic " Booze Bag " came over to see me though. I actually work with the 2 of them and turned them onto shinedown and this was there 1st show. Too bad the " Booze Bag " did a number on her husband because he doesn't even remember them hitting the stage. I guess they left by 11pm.
