I live about an hour from the venue and we had some nasty, nasty storms go through before the show. We ended up missing Halestorm, the first band! It seemed alot of people didn't show up for the show, and I'm sure it was all weather related, I, even as a huge Shinedown fan, was tempted to just hide in basement, it was that bad! We made it anyways...Shinedown headlined the show, and they sounded incredible. Probably the best I've heard them! "I dare you" was just plain magical, it was so good, Brents voice was in top form! They played for an hour, but there was something bothering me the whole show. I've seen Shinedown a number of times, and Brent is soooo sweet and incredible..he just seemed to be "pissed" or something tonight...I know I wasn't the only one thinking this, other people noticed....even though his voice was just plain incredible last night, he just seemed a little unfocused or something, I have no idea what it was...at one point during th show, Brent was walking around in a circle and Jasin stopped him and pushed him, it was like a "settle down Bro" type of push...I hope I'm wrong, but it just seemed like there was some tension in the air...I'd like to know if anybody else noticed this, if you were at this show...anyways, I had a blast, the band was incredible I LOVE THEM! Brent is my hero, and always will be! Maybe it was just a bad day or something.....

Weird...but we all have our shitty days and can't be on top all the time.

I'm used to seeing Brent going in the crowd, and he didn't do that. He just hates Cleveland because the last time they were there everyone stopped singing Simple Man when he stopped lol


The picture that she drew of Halestorm Brent was like "AreJay looks like a ffffing moron!!!" But I think the rest of the members of Halestorm made fun of AreJay worse. lol

But Brent was such a sweet guy to this one kid who wanted a Trapt autograph, he got on their bus and got one from one of the members, apologized to the kid because the other members already left and it was so funny because that kid was like "it's all right" and then shook Brent's hand.

omg....how do you know he hates Cleveland? did he really say that? about the Simple Man thing? I was at that House of Blues show and I don't remember the crowd not singing, and thats a real silly reason to hate a city...I really doubt that he hates Cleveland, other than last night, weather isuues, thier shows are always so intense and fun, he has always seemed so sincere about being happy to be there. I just thought he was having an inner circle issue, lol..he just didn't seem as happy as he usually is....maybe its just me, hmmmm. anyways, I'll be at the Struthers show on July 5th, see how he is then, lol

oh myyy... well then he will hate me cuz I can never remember a lyric to Simple Man because I am not too wild about any songs... if it doesnt strike a chord in me, it won't stay.

Anyway... i hope that Brent is okay. Jasin is like a brother to Brent so he'll take care of it.

I really don't know, but where were you when they were at the HOB because I didn't hear anyone singing after Brent stopped and let the fans sing. I think I was right in the middle of Jasin and Brent, in the front row. Because Brent has to do the braking of the family and make everyone lose their spot. lol

Im not really sure WHO said Brent or ANY of us hate cleveland>?>??...we had an amazing show that night spite of the Rain or Brent being in the middle of singing 6 shows in a row with doing press and everything all day

Glad to hear that... usually I would figure that maybe Brent was having a bad day just prior to the show. I am hoping to see some pictures from that show cuz our friend Kelly (aka Girly) was there.

at the HOB show, I was in the balcony, the show was incredible! I don't remember anybody stopping singing though, at least nobody up there, lol..oh well, I love seeing Shinedown and I'll continue to rock out at any show I can tix to! muah!

I was just joking about the Cleveland thing, but for the HOB show everyone in the front stopped singing and Brent had to restart when no one sang. lol

yea brent always wears in ears.. and sometimes he cant hear the crowd is actually singing..so sometimes he doesnt realize..it can be funny at times..haha
