Just learned from Saving Abel and WRIF websites that the A7X/Buckcherry w/ Shinedown & Saving Abel tour will hit Eastern Michigan on Friday, 11/21. Best news I've heard all day! Now only if Shinedown could swap slots with either A7X or Buckcherry.

I saw them last night in GR, that's where I saw them the first time way back when && they were amazing as always =]
I wish I could go to Ypsilanti Friday to see them as well, but no one will go with me ! Last time we saw them in Detroit & our car broke down there, we were stuck for 3 days! eek...oh well I'll just wait a little longer...

Let me start by saying that I am a big fan, and have seen Shinedown seven times now. Unfortunately, something was missing last night. Brent's vocals were just, well, different. He wasn't exactly singing some of the words, more of just "saying" them if that makes sense. He wasn't holding his notes or screams, just kind of cutting them short. Then, he completely skipped the end of Save Me and FFTI. He just put the microphone on the stand, put the stand next to the drum kit and kind of screamed on the stage. But...the whole band had a ton of energy. And, he killed the scream in Second Chance, which was awesome. So, everyone is entitled to an off night. And their off night is still better than most bands best nights. When you see them a lot, I guess you can kind of get picky because you know how good they can be. But you better believe I will be there the next time they roll through town.
