I wish I would've known you were coming up here before this morning. I would've went to the show then. Just to meet you guys. Hell I would've even picked you up at the airport seeing as how I would've passed it to get to Madison.. How about staying in town until 8/7 ?

I just saw Shinedown live for the first time at JJO Bandcamp today and it was incredible. They were easily the highlight of the day and had the best response from the crowd out of all of the bands. I only wish they could have played a longer set.

DAMN IT...I knew I should have made a detour this morning!!!! But I thought 2 shows in one weekend might be enough...though I really wanted to see RA and Dope...oh well some other time. But I will go to a show that your at someday Mel...you best believe it...lol

I was expecting more of a response about Band Camp here in the forums. I was sad that I missed Bobaflex, but I was super excited to see Black Stone Cherry (until I found out someone stole my camera ) but even that couldn't get me down while they were playing. I'm just sad I couldn't get any pics, especially when Brent walked right by us at the end of there set, that made me really mad.

And of course, Shinedown was fucking amazing and rocked the joint. Can't wait until I get to see them again. It was nice to see a few of those pre-order t-shirts running around too.

And did anyone see the fight right before and at the beginning of Shinedown? It was close to the stage in the beer garden area. It happened right in front of us and I was pissed when they started fighting during the show.

Band Camp was a blast. Seriously.

If you thought BSC was entertaining, you should have seen the shit going on behind the speakers. HILARIOUS.

What did you think about BSC dude coming out and singing with Brent? I thought it was awesome.

I'm willing to bet that you saw Leesa and I and didn't even know it.

Band Camp was great... but why you got to be rubbing your backstage in our face, lol.

And when Chris came out that was beyond awesome. for me, it doesn't get much better than that. I just wish I could find the video of that somewhere.

Aw. That wasn't my intent. Back stage isn't so great, really. The sound's not awesome. The view's strange because you're just looking at people's backs. It's really not as glamourous as people like to think. The only great thing about it is getting to visit with friends and not having 6 million people come up and interrupt you.

And yes, I was pretty excited for ANew Revolution. When I first posted about Shinedown coming to Band Camp, you gave us the heads up they were going to be there and there myspace page. I checked it out and liked it.

I didn't get to close, I stayed back and watched it with my brother, my uncle, and my mom (who I'd like to thank for getting me into Shinedown). They put on a really good show and sounded great.

Did you see Frank, the bass player, turn around during "Done" and do a...thrusting dance when Joey sang "fist fuck"? I laughed SO hard at that. He knows that I'm basically a three year old and that that line makes me giggle. Being the oh so mature boy that he is, he turned around to find me and did the dance. I laughed for the rest of the song.

Oh yeah. We're mature as hell.

Hmmmm, can't say that I really remember that part... but still hilarious... and very mature

Part of me is hoping that there's a YouTube video of it, but I'm pretty sure there's probably not.

no one saw me. hopefully...

band camp was ridicuously awesome though. even with the HOURS it took to get home, the trip was still worth it. i saw a bunch of great bands and managed to stay out of trouble, mostly.
