WOW!!!!!
2nd time this year, not lucky like some (jugs but what a night, First warm up act Counterpoint were good, got the crown moving and apart from a couple of out of tune guitars, I was impressed.

SOiL awesome got the crown bouncing, not as heavy as I thought they were going to be but banging all the same AJ bounced about the stage with ferocious energy into the crowd and as he came over to the side where me and my peeps were, my hand went up and over the people in front of me and he punched it cool, except for his big ass ring ouch hahahaha, interaction always rocks.

The main event, the boys were as normal amazing, my throat is sore, i'm in absolute agony due to the amount of painkillers I had to take just to stand up (suffering from major back issues at the moment)
Backdrop surprise fab, chances to take pics awesome, 3 people back from the front and this was it the night was made, including one new song the setlist, the always amazing monologues from Brent the energy from Zach, Eric and Barry were palpatable throughout the gig, the room atmosphere was electronic and the house as they say got rocked.

So thanks to the bands that made my night musically and atmospherically, Shinedown you guys rock, roll on next time, how about some UK dates for the Papa Roach dual headline tour or some with HaleStorm like we were expecting? That would be legen......wait for it........dary

Gripes, there were some muppets at the back of the crowd who don't appreciate the boys playing especially the new song, don't need to hear you heckling feck off back to whence you came!!! The Fat little dick in the check shirt, not only did you hit on one of my best mates, despite the fact she told you she was stood there with her husband, you almost got knocked out then, you then proceeded to barge past us causing me to stand there protecting my friends yet somehow you still managed to grope another friend and lean all over her also elbowed my 11 year old niece in the head. I should have hit you when I had the chance, and you fu**ed off quickly, not giving me the chance after the gig. I see you again your crippled And that's a promise not an empty internet threat!!!!!

Final point on merchandise, I was dissapointed that the merch prices had gone up so much, t-shirts up by £5 hoodies by £10, I bought a european tour t shirt and a shinedown wristband, which unfortunately got lost, if anyone found it I want it back please!!!!

Thanks to everyone especially my friends, old and new including people who I finally got to me, it was good it was great and now I need to go back to bed

Yes it was an awesome night, but like you I was shocked/disappointed at the merch prices, I wanted a hoodie, but £40! Afraid I'm gonna have to live without one at that price.

It was really nice to meet you at last Carl, and the gig was amazing hoping Tuesday in Wolverhampton will be as good if not better (sorry dont mean to gloat Carl), and i agree about the prices of the merch, but hey the band have to make a living somehow and if merch going up means that the band can come back to the UK in the spring with Soil again then i'll get the odd t-shirt or two or three. we had the sreaming banshee near us and she deafened us all, and when i say scream i mean SCREAM !!!!! it was ok at first but she got really annoying by the end of the night!! this was the first time i have seen Counterpoint and they were pretty damn good !! and i honestly didnt think i would like Soil, but you know they rocked and they now have a new fan, but nothing and i say NOTHING out rocked the sublime Shinedown, they didnt disappoint and when they played Call Me, well i was one happy woman !!!!!!!! bring on Tuesday, i can't wait !!!

The "New Song" is a kinda prelude to Call Me, I've seen a link on a posting here somewhere where you can view it on YouTube, filmed in America somewhere. It was dropped for Nottingham and replaced with an acoustic I Dare You

New as in awesome, not sure whether they plan on releasing as part of the next album or whether it was just a little soemthing they throw in and chop and change, being as I'm only fortunate enough to make the Machester acaemy gigs, I can't comment.

Jugs I could not be more jealous but pleased we finally got to meet, hope it was good on Tuesday get your ass back on here and let the rest of us know!
