You guys had the best show there - hands down. You blew away everyone else. To be honest, I wasn't a big Shinedown fan... I came more for Killswitch, Disturbed and 10 Years. I have new found respect for what you do, and you have made a fan. Brent has something really special on stage - very passionate, it's amazing, and the band is tight with a great energy and sound. Real pros, and a real good time.

the only thing i don't like about a show like this is that Shinedown doesn't get to stay on stage very long. Brent was awesome as always he sounded great and knows how to get the crowd into the music. Zach really rocked it too!! I am sorry to say i really didn't pay too much attention to the new guys, change is hard. i mostly focused on Brent and his vocals. They will be on the road alot with this cd.i am looking forward to seeing them again when i know the new music and when they can be on stage longer. sorry i didn't get to meet any of you guys.

The guys really rocked. The new music is heavier as Zach stated.. it was totally awesome!!!.. now I'm realy hyped for the new album to hurry up and get released...

The guys sounded fantastic.. Brent vocals are great! all the guys did well..

Lisa and I got to talk to Brent and Zach after thier meet and greet.. and Zach said they are starting to film the Devour video today!!

Sdzofmadness_ sorry for keep getting smashed into you during the crowd pushing.. but i was getting crushed..tried to push back but it was hard..

It was a fantastic show!!

The entire two day event was a blast. I had a lot of fun seeing all the bands perform.

I do have to say that Shinedown was one of my favorite performances. It was still pretty early in the day but they got me pumped up. I've always liked their music (especially Heroes, 45, and the cover of Simple Man), but I like them even more now after the show.

I'll be looking forward to the new album.

My review of Shinedown's set..here we go!!!! lol

Well..Finger Eleven went on first one the main stage...they were good but the crowd kind of mild.

Then they started rolling in Barry's drum kit..which is new and has the 7 Deadly Sins on it..I f'in love it!!!! Then the boys took the stage...HOLY CRAP did the crowd erupt!!!!! It was amazing!!!!! They play 4 old and 4 new!!!!

In no order:
OLD:
45
Save Me
Heroes
Fly From The Inside(which they ended with)
New:
Devour(opened with)
Cyanide Sweet Tooth Suicide
Cry For Help
Sound of Madness

HOLY CRAP..do I love the new stuff!!!!! Yeah..the old stuff will always be great..but damn this stuff is heavier and I can't wait for the album.

Yeah, I missed seeing Jasin up there but Nick was amazing!!!! Eric..haha..he was wild and crazy on stage..a perfect fit!!!!!! Zach..blah..he knows what I think of him..lol Brent....wow...I respect and love that man more than I have ever!!!! His voice sounded SOOOOO amazing better than ever...guess that's what happens when you stop smoking and drinking..I'm so damn proud of him for that.

Like Patti said..we got to talk with Brent and Zach after their signing(which we didn't know about..damn it..but oh well..lol) The guys went back to take a pic with some radio guy and I looked at Brent..he waved..then I motioned for him to come over to Patti and I..he stopped what he was talking to the radio guy about and came over and gave us hugs..I was like..HOLY CRAP..then security tried to push us back but Brent told him that we where with him..lol gotta love that man..LOL!!!!! Then they went off to do some more radio interviews..Zach said it seemed like they did 500 interviews..lol The whole day was amazing...definitely worth the 9 1/2hr drive..lol Though I almost made Patti miss her flight..SORRY AGAIN!!!!!

I got some pics..not sure how good they will be since I didn't know that I could take my good camera in cause it looks professional and they said only personal cameras..oh well..nest time I'll know better...lol I should have them up as soon as I figure out how to get them off the memory card...stupid thing will only read the pics taken with the good camera and not my crappy camera..blah blah blah..i'll figure it out.

very cool review Lisa. sucks they only played 8 songs, but hey, 8 is better than none at all. I agree, Eric is the perfect fit for the band. Hopefully you got some good pictures, cant wait to see them.

Shinedown was the main reason I went to Rock On The Range. I got to touch Brent while he sang 45! He was all sweaty and gross but it was amazing! I wish they had more time on stage, but nevertheless it was amazing.

What is this "meet and greet" stuff I'm hearing about? I would kill to meet Brent! I love the new stuff, by the way.

Hey Lexie.. The boys had a signing at ROTR. It was on the same side as the second stage.. in the F.Y.E. tent. you had to buy Merch to get a wristband, to go thru the line to meet the boys.
Lisa an I didn't know about it till they were almost done. I saw the tent, and looked at the schedule and saw Shinedown was in there at the moment signing stuff. Ran back to Lisa and told her about it, since neither of us knew about it. We hung out till they finished since they closed the line before we could get something ourselves to go thru and meet the new guys.

Lisa and I saw Brent and Zack after they were done with the signings and got to talk to them.
That is what we are referring to about the meet an greet.
