My friend that called me from the show was complaining about the fans too..hmmm Wink Got to hear the entire set and although I'm sure it was a hell of a lot better in person, it sounded great over the phone.

I was on the board when he called so I posted the set list in the other Ohio thread..Smiler

Rain... sleet...freezing winds...being a frozen Nanner's pop... None of that was gonna stop me from rocking out to the boys in my town! Despite my ticket saying it was in the top of the pavillion.. I managed to be less than half way back. Even though we were closer at 1 point. Freaking guards clearing the isle! But man this show rocked! The boys sounded great and looked even better. Nothing like a home town show to make a girlie proud! I was grinning from ear to ear! The boys definately stole the show! With no wonder the energy was amazing! I had no problem with the crowd around me not being into the boys. Even though the guys next to us thought we were insane! I do wish we had snuck into the pit. Because the pit was DEAD. How anyone could sit at a rock show is beyond me! This is not grandpa and grandma's show! Even though it was bitter cold looked like everyone was having a good time. But who really books a show in the end of October outside? Good lord son! I think I'm getting sicker and I am gonna call it Phlax!

The only downer was not being able to say hi to the boys. But with the conditions as they were I would have kicked thier butts if they did not come out bundled up. It's better to have them warm and safe than out in what we all were!

I was so cold when I got home, I actually couldn't go to sleep! But man, was it ever worth it!

I had a lawn seat, but after I got smart, Executer and I snuck down onto the pavilion for Shinedown's set. Big Grin

Tiffany, nice to meet you, and Woolum....good to see you again!

Just wondering if anyone seen the band before shinedown. I think they were called the farewell but can't find anything on the web about them. There are a ton of bands called the farewell. I thought they said they were from memphis, tn but not sure. Let me know if anyone has there website or myspace link.

thanks

It took me and nanners a few minutes to even realize that the opening band WASN'T alterbridge..... but with mark being so sick, I guess its good they didn't come out in the freezing frickin cold.

Great set by shinedown, we definietly should have snuck down to the pit nanners, we could have shown them what a PIT is supposed to look like.

Nice meeting you Sarah and Walter, and good times as always nanners, wolly and zach....

Our pictures are adorable by the way, make wolly send em to ya!

The only time the crowd actually got into their music was during the Pink Floyd cover. And that was butchered.
