shinedown, you have many fans, but, are you thinking of becoming a more public band? would you rather be a pupolar, known band,or would you rather stay a popular, unknown band?

They are popular, there's even some fans here in Egypt. But if you mean so popular like Linkin Park and these famous rappers and stuff, Shinedown deserves it. Personally, I like Shinedown the way they are, they deserve the fame, but if they get too famous.... you know...

In a way i hope the become popular its all they ever wanted, but i think sometime it ruins a band..like Stone sour, they got popular and became assholes soo im not sure.

Exactly, if they want it, then sure. And most probably they'll become bad if they get popular. Plus it's not bad now, they are popular and their fan's love for them is more than the love of a popular band. I always like to use Linkin Park as an example of a popular band. Look how many fans they have, but how much the fans love them is nothing compared to the Shinedown fans. The LP fans might be crazy bout LP but they don't love them from the soul and heart as we do. I ''think'' this is what matters with Shinedown.

quite honestly to this point Shinedown has been the most "public"/fan oriented band I have been around now yes Im partial and have been to more of their shows but point being anytime I wanted to stand there and bullshit with them after the show they were more than willing to take pictures, sign, etc etc.
