I must write to you to thank you for the soulfull song "Simple Man". My brother Freddie, I am told, would belt this song out at least 2 times before he went to bed...he has just suddenly been killed in a tragic car accident at 33. He triumphed over many things to get to the wonderful simple life he found..in love, expecting a babe and loving his job. We miss him so much...and having this amazing song of yours to remember him by...is a wonderful gift. As a musical artist, I am sure you would appreciate how your work has now transcended this world and translates a small piece of my brothers soul for us here...thank you. WHile I have not listened to your band in the past...we just listened to different stuff...I will look forward to attending a concert in the future (when you make it up to Canada)... So sorry about your loss. iam right there with you though on the Simpleman. i lost my son 22months ago at age 22 and when ever i hear Brent sing this song i get goose bumps. i have been lucky enough to see him do it live many times, it's amazing.
