Jasin would like to thank all of his true Shinedown fans and the many well wishes from his fellow band friends over the music industry...too many to write.

He has received hundred's of calls and emails from his fans, friends and various bands giving him their support.

Jasin is safe and is on the road to recovery.

He needs for his Shinedown fans to know that Brent is his true friend and supporter!
Brent and Jasin are closer than blood brothers in heart and soul. Brent loves Jasin and continues to support him! Please do not be hurtful to Brent. He is upset enough and hurt about Atlantic Records temporary(?) dropping Jasin off the Band line up.

Again, Brent is the primary person in Shinedown. All of the others are just hired help.

I am not saying the others are not good musicians........they are that is the reason they were hired. Jasin helped Zach and Nick in the past because of friendship and their ability to play music.

Jasin wants no negative comments about his friend Brent and wants all of the Shinedown Fans to support Brent 100% as Brent is doing for Jasin.

Jasin will rock again. He is a rock star down to his bones. Jasin is tough and loves playing for his fans. Playing his music is the blood running through his veins.

Just like many other musicians he got caught in the life of being a rock star. He is on the road to feeling the music again.

Like Eric Clapton said, it is a day at a time and they need their fans, family and support groups!

Keep supporting him and you will see him play again!

Bell, it is good to know Jasin is doing ok. As a fan who loves this band i think we all were just worried about him.it is good to know that Brent supports him still. Brent's words have meant alot and it is good to know he is true to his word.because of the shock, maybe we all forgot how the band was hurting too! here's to hoping we will see Jasin on stage again soon.

As you said Brent is the primary person in shinedown wouldnt he have a big input into who he wants in and no offence intended wouldnt you do anything possible to keep someone you consider family even if it ment that the band would be no longer.And i know ppl do have familys to think about aswell as contracts signed but i know if i was put into a situation where i had to choose between family and a job i would choose family n happily dig ditches to pay the bills im sure playing music with the original members,the people you love and have played with for years in a living room is alot more gradifying than playing on a big stage with just "hired help".

on a brighter note glad to hear jasin is getting support from everyone and hope he does well in the future

Brent may have been the primary member of this band but, we've grown to love Jasin as an equal! (not just hired help) In fact, my wife will not support this band without him!

I know the music industry is just that, a business industry. But, this may not have been the smartest move, if you ask me.

Bell, let me say that one, I'm glad that you chose to reveal yourself. I wasn't going to do it because that's not my place to do so, but I'm glad that people will finally realize that I wasn't just sticking up for someone!
(Now don't you all feel horrible for being so mean to her??)

That said, if you, or J, need ANYTHING, please let me know. I've been worrying about him since everything went down. I did email him, but I don't know if he read it or not. I have more to say, but I'd rather PM it to you, if that's okay? I just don't want something that is directed to just you to be out there for everyone and their brother to read, you know?

It's great to hear that Jasin is doing well... I hope you told him to read the boards too, they are full of support for him. It's good to know that you are reliable source, too.

Also, I can't help but say a big "I TOLD YOU SO!" to those that are dissing Brent.

I was the guy who posted that Jasin had been let go last week on this board and it got erased.Some of you got to read it and didn't believe me, and I don't blame you because I didn't want it to be true. I called my local radio station about a week and a half ago to find out when they would be playing Devour. The DJ said in May and he also told me Shinedown has a new guitarist and I was shocked and mad. I call to get good news and get really bad news. I had to tell someone and I felt it should be the fans, and it was erased. I didn't realize that some important people might or might not know yet as I was told by Mel, and i'm sorry for that, but I had to tell someone. Shinedown is a big part of my life as their music helps me each day, hell my kids know every word to each Shinedown song I play it so much and they're only 5 and 9. I am a big Sevendust fan and when Clint left the band I kind of stopped listening to them because it didn't feel the same, it felt like something or someone was missing. I'm kind of feeling the same way right now. I still will buy the new album, and most likely will go see them, but someone will be missing. I want to go to the shows and chant Jasin because he NEEDS TO BE IN SHINEDOWN. I hope the assholes at Atlantic will realize what a mistake they made and just like Clint coming back to Sevendust, Jasin will come back to Shinedown. JASIN GET BETTER BROTHER-WE NEED YOU BACK IN SHINEDOWN!!!!!!
