Really did not want to respond to this, but it was bugging me so F it. Of course when you put a song into the hands of executives, the video is not going to have everything that a fan was expecting. It happens. As far as I am concerned, I feel it represents the song quite well. Holding on to the things you love would be like hang on a ledge and how easy it is to fall when the things you love are taken from you. Feeling love, having someone you love, would be as free and exhilarating as being up in the air, but easy to lose just like balancing on a rafter, one wrong step and everything is gone or "If you only knew, how many times I counted all the words that went wrong". And in the end, it's not about the video itself, but the song and getting it out for more people to hear, so more albums are bought, and more money is given back into the band so they can tour more and make new songs.

Relax dude, its just a music video. Unless it was exactly what you imagined when you first heard the song, then everything is fine. But if it was, then according to Lewis Black you must kill yourself.

The above poster is instantly full of WIN for refencing Lewis Black. That is all.
In regards to the video, I haven't seen it. Could someone please upload it to Youtube or something?

It's a good neutral video, look deeper. You'll see what you need to, if you want to.
...I'm not against what's right, I'm not for what's wrong, I'm just makin' my way and I'm gone...
