I'm 15 and living in Pennsylvania, it's a great place but not to me. You see I come from an abusive family and. . . well you can see where i am going with this. I really thought there was no chance or hope of me having a bit better life but then i heard Second Chance on the radio. So i went home and listen to it about ten more times because it made me feel pretty good and it helped see that there is still hope left in my life. So I went out and bought the sound of madness CD and some songs on there did what Second Chance did so I just really felt like saying thanks to all you guys in Shinedown for writing Second Chance and helping me out a little.

Hope to see a concert when (IF) you ever come back the Penn's Peak.

I'm glad that you were able to find something that helped you. Music is an amazing thing like that. It seems that, regardless of the situation, there's always a song that will at least make you feel better, and it won't always be the same song for two people in the same situation. It's a special thing when you can find a song that speaks to you. Enjoy it. Let it comfort you.

that song is really very powerful, and i love it but its still not my fav on the album
but you should think about getting the other albums they are just as powerful as TSOM in there own ways.

When im down and upset shinedown is the best cure for that, really want to know a song that helps me when im very depressed? Lost in the crowd, basically listen to it!
