One simple question, how the hell do you keep the color in your hair? Mine is like a an every other day thing, so I stopped doing my beautiful pink. I got tired of having pink pillow cases and having pink towels, it gets everywhere, semi permanant my ass, that stuff washes out faster than I can keep it in.

I used to dye my hair blue for like 2years straight. i bleached it first. once every 4-6 months and the dye held in there forever. it's brighter too. don't know if this will help you or not but it worked for me.

mine is bleached and it sucks cuz I hate it, I want my red hair back and with the salt water and sun and peroxide that never seems to stop bleaching your hair, dye won't stick. I did the day glo pink thing for monthes and like I said I was dying my hair like every other day, no matter what product I used. And now my pretty red hair has been ruined and I can't get it back.

Ahh hair dying, Ive gotten pretty good at this. I have dyed my hair only a few times. I usally do my hair red. Thing is my hair is down past my ass. Talk about fun, for me it ends up being a two day process. One day to bleach and one to dye. I have found that Special Effects is a really good dye. Also I think a lot of how well the dye stays in your is your hair type, I have really thick course hair, it holds dye very well, fine hair, doesnt seem to hold it as well.

Isn't that the one that is also called "Raw"?
I uses "Raw" on Andy for black hair and it lasts forever! Never fade, strip as long as it is on your hair. And the thing I like about it are: No smell (No chemical smell! serious!) You can control the amount (short hair only need a little bit, while the long hair can use it all up) Cheaper ($7 for the whole kit) I like it better than any other color brand. I used to use Loving Care, Nice N Easy.. but gawd they don't last long between shampoos. -jms- http://i3.photobucket.com/albu...lsharky2/LiveA7X.jpg "Look out, look in, and realize, You always get carried away..." |

the color makes a difference in how long they stay. My aunt is a hair dresser. As far as like your natural looking colors, the reds fade the fastsest, the brown dull out and the blacks just never really good for whatever reason. She was the one who told me on MY WEDDING DAY (I was 19) that I needed to start dying my hair because I was was going white early as I am a natural red head, we don't go gray and tend to ose our color younger than most. I still hate her for that. Making me feel bad about my hair the day I got married.

I have found that Redken makes the BEST colors for redheads. And it lasts - its expensive, but looks GREAT!!! Blonds, like myself, my hair guy uses Wella or Logics (by matrix). If you are Bleaching - Graham Webb's Blondor is wonderful, especially if you are medium to very dark it leaves NO Orangy tones ....colorgraphics by Matrix is a good lifter, but seems to be really harsh on my hair.

Interesting... More advice? Would you allow white strands to go?
Andy thinks it looks cool.. but I think that's what preventing me from getting a job... What is your best advice for someone who really wants to return to work after being a full time stay-at-home mom for 10 years? -jms- http://i3.photobucket.com/albu...lsharky2/LiveA7X.jpg "Look out, look in, and realize, You always get carried away..." |

OMG!!!!!! Someone else who has done the koolaid thing.yay!!!!!1 I am not so old after all. Smells pretty too.
Do you want a job or a career? See, my problem seemed to be either I could have a "career" because I am trained in several things, but only want a job, and the funny thing is because my references aside from my husband or myself (because I owned my bussiness) are way old, except the dominatress thing which was still my own bussiness and doesn't count for shit, people don't want to hire people who have only been in management jobs or owned they 're own bussiness because they say you won't be happy there, you are over qualified, you would be better in management and there aren't any openings or you have no recent job history. I can't even get a job a the Village Inn serving coffee to old people because they are afraid I won't like it and I'll quit on them. So I would say, figure out what it's worth to you. Do you need the money, do you really want to work etc......If money is a problem, waitressing is a good bet. My job isn't hard by any means and I have made almost $500 in two nights, anybody can do it and these jobs have a quick turn over so people are usually desperate for help. Just buy a good pair of sneakers and spend the extra cash on support hose. As a former employer, if you have the confidence to sell yourself, most people will be willing to train you or work with on scheduling. But the hair thing, piercings what ever, go work in a bar, most aren't that picky. Especially at biker bar or strip clubs. Cocktailing in a strip club is actually quite fun. As long as no cock ends up in your tail, you have nothing to worry about. You know you will be safe and not manhandled because all you gotta do is wave over a bouncer and the handsy customer goes away, usually really fast like. and not all have super skimpy uniforms. In places like that the way to make money is all about your personality. Those guys get so tore up they have beer goggles on, (shit you should see some of the dancers I work with) Men like women of every shape and size, and as a waitress not a stripper, if you can make a man laugh and feel good about himself he'll tip you even if you spill a pitcher in his lap. Most of those guys know you ain't taking their asses home, so they are content just to sit and talk and not have to pay you for it. Last night a guy gave me fifty dollars totell him the "secret" the bartender told me, which was just that two dudes were having a drinking contest on who could drink more Goose and she was serving one guy $9 shots of water so he could win the bet.
