Attn. Brent : Just got the new album today, friggin awesome! Been a big fan for a while now and would like to make the trip down to Milwaukee this Saturday at 10:00pm to see the band but I know my kids want to go as well. My two daughters are 9 and 13 and love Shinedown, we sing it all the time on road trips to motocross tracks in the midwest but was hoping there wouldn't be any swearing on stage, what do you think, could you keep it somewhat clean. Hope to be there an jam! My wife and I just turned 40 and really dig the new music from you, keep rockin.

I take it you have never been to a Shinedown concert before?

My youngest was 3 at the time, in the front row doin "1,2 F** Y**" (or counting with Brent as her brohter refers to it) right along with them. Mine know they can do that at the show & the show ONLY. Don't rob your kids of the experience of seeing the boys because the F bomb MIGHT get dropped once or twice. I guarantee you they hear worse than that from their friends

I'm the same way with my son . He can only say it when Brent does the 1 2 F U . Saturday will be his 5th show . I have actually heard his friends say much worse. The last 3 shows I went to Brent didn't do it anyway.

We're going anyways, just wanted to know what to expect, not that it gets out of hand. They really dig the songs and use them in powerpoint presentations for school and stuff, they're just fans. Can't wait for this weekend. Thanks for the info. 1st show!

I'm glad that you are going to go . You will not be disappointed . I'm sure it won't be your only show ! My 1st show was 2 yrs ago at the state fair , we were in the grand stand and couldn't really see them but let me tell you it was a moving experience . Saturday will be my 6th show and every show just gets better . By the way where in WI do you live ? I'm in Racine..

Definitely go. It's not like he goes off on tangents. Maybe a word here and there, but that's all. I've heard worse at shows for other bands.

Fiery Halo - I live near Sheboygan. Haven't been to a live concert in years, used to hit Monster of Rock, all the 80 hair bands stuff when I was in the service 20 years ago, looking forward to a good time. The more I listened to this latest album, the more I like it.
