I am a devoted fan. Have had drinks and coversation with you at Freebird. I have never joined a forum and have never left a fan message. However, as a person with a Kentucky native background I can't even listen to "What a Shame." I find a reason to stand up only to profound problems in this world. This is one of those times, Kentucky only makes bourbon. All other fakers make whiskey, note, they cannot call it bourbon unless it comes from Kentucky. Its kind of like true Champagne comes from Champagne, France, the rest are supposed to call it "Sparkling wine." Though I live in Jacksonville (San Pablo) I will never ignore my families redneck Kentucky roots. Go Jim! I would love the song if I could get past the first line.

it's funny that you pointed that out. another one of my friends said the same thing the first time he heard the song. he's a jax native. he said brent should have known being from tennessee. i don't drink so i wouldn't have known the difference. from some of my past experiences some people from tn/ky take this very seriously.
