I have seen Shinedown like 6 times before live...everytime they come to the NorthEast. But last night was the best experience I have ever had. The local radio station here in Hartford WCCC put on a CD release party for the band and they came here from OH on their off night. That was the 1st cool part. 2nd they did a VERY intimate accoustic performance. Now I mean there was like 100 ppl in there tops! They gave the best interview and performance I have ever seen...and since I have worked at radio stations before...I have seen many shows.

The one thing that set me over the top was after the show. They had autograph signings and meet and greets. I was blown away by how personable and friendly they were. When I asked for a pic, Brent just pulled me close and said "no problem baby" They were all like that for everyone. I have even more respect for the guys of Shinedown after last night.

Now I have a question for the guys... do you like big concerts and venues or small intimate gatherings like last night at the bar?

That's exactly how I felt after the San Diego show! The guys were just as sweet and humble as they could be...
