it says that walt lafty said that nick perri was just in shinedown to pay the bills and he is still in silvertide. jasin has said in his myspace blog that we will see him round soon. Anyone know whats going on.

Now curiosity is killing me. Still, the link on Wikipedia doesn't work and we could see Jasin soon in any thing else.

Umm...not sure what to make of this. That Silvertide guy makes it sound like Nick's place is just temporary and he just "jumped" on tour, and Jasin actually quit...wierd. Probably doesn't know what he's talking about, he speaks very fast. =D

Some things really contradict what we know/believe in Shinedown land....I don't think Nick is temporary at all.

He says "the bass player invited him" which would be Zach, I suppose. And he also says Nick is coming back, which isn't hard to believe. Many players play in two bands.

That isn't even about Nick playing in Shinedown. This is when Nick played in Perry Farrell's Satellite Party. If you look at the date added its from January 08. Walt is talking about Nuno Bettencourt quitting Satellite Party 3 days before they played Leno and scrambling to get a new guitarist, and so Nick continued to tour with them.

The Shinedown mention was for the Dimebag fundraiser show where they played.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh yes indeed. Makes so much more sense. I never did understand "Perry liked Perry". :P
