If it were true a wave of joy would sweep over the shinedown world, but the outlook i believe is bleak my friend.
Whats a platinum album, and a million new fans, when you've poisioned your soul?
Yeah Joy! But like when we were told about the new lineup nobody mentioned that Nick was temporary. I don't think it's true because there was no signs at all of Nick being so. What's right is that Nick belongs to Silvertide and Jasin belongs to Shinedown. I'd feel sad if Nick left.... anyhow where did you hear that?

silvertide has not announced that he is not in silvertide. Silvertide has a new album coming out and tour dates are coming up. on both their band website and myspace http://www.myspace.com/silvertide nick perri is listed as their lead guitar. read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silvertide . it says that "nick perri has not left silvertide."
I'm not trying to sound rude but I'm sure threads like this can't make Nick feel welcomed. Yeah, the lineup has changed, but the music is still great. Bands change, life goes on. I love them both and Nick is a great guitarist as well as Jasin.
Not really, we all love both Nick and Jasin. There is no problem with Nick being in Shinedown, it's actually great. But I think that Nick is more Silvertide and Jasin is Shinedown. Jasin wrote part of the music that Shinedown plays till now and he was with them for 6-7 years. If I was kicked out of the band that we started just a few months ago I would be so angry and all we did till now was cover a few songs and write a few of ours... Now Jasin has been playing shows for that long... He deserves to be in Shinedown and if Nick leaves I will be really really sad but he belongs to Silvertide... I guess
Shinedown isn't the hardest music to play so Nick and Jasin can both play the music equally but who's more Shinedown... no offense to Nick cuz I am a big fan of him since Silvertide.
Yep Bands change, life goes on but think of Jasin's life after he dedicated 6-7 years of it and lose it all....
Nick Perri still ROCKS!

That is totally accurate

None, bands break up and some bands get back together. Look at Aerosmith, and for a while back in the day it seemed like Steven Tyler and Joe Perry really hated each other. They got clean and reunited and made a bad album, then bounced back in the 90's. Now, granted Shinedown is no where near Aerosmith's situation (or for all we know they are), but in my own OPINION I believe this is all a passing phase. This is all dependent on Jasin Todd's actual opinion on the matter. I don't believe myspace for a minute but at the same time don't think he's cool with being replaced. It seems to me that if Brent really thinks of Jasin as a brother than he will get him back into the band the first opportunity he gets. That and has anyone whose gone to a show noticed how far away Nick is from...the rest of the band? Or that only Brent and Zach will go over to him once a show? If you ask me, and I know less than most of the posters on this forum, that if they don't get Jasin back in the band before the next album, settle in it may take a while. But I do believe he will be back and when he comes back he'll bring Simple Man back with him. As for Brad Stewart, if the split was mutual I can see him back too...wow they've recorded three albums and we're (or at least I am) already taking about a Shinedown Reunion!
i love both shinedown and silvertide. i think both nick and jasin are talented guitarists. I think nick fits better in silvertide and jasin is needed for there to be a shinedown. i miss jasin and i think everything going back to normal is best for everyone.
i agree brad and jasin fits to be in shinedown they help start it i love brad to death and jasin is pretty sweet himself, but i have bought the madness cd and it is really good, i use to listen and hear only brad play (can u tell he's my fav) and now i dont hear nothin but the music in a whole it is not the same, but we have to accept the fact that bands change members like underware, for now we have to support them as their fans.
