I'd first off like to say what an incredible thing it is that you'll reach out for your fans like this. I know it is difficult to check in on places like this because after all you're so busy touring and crafting all the music we have come to know and love. It's hard to find honest questions to answer and it is impossible to answer all of them... So I won't stop loving you all and your music if you never happen to see this.

I wanted to know, in part what inspired you. What was it that made you pick up your instruments or what was it that inspired you to step out in front of thousands of people and sing? What was it that kept you going through everything. You must have had your rough times. Did you have times where you thought you were going to fail? What kept you going? Did everyone else say 'there was no way you'd make it and to snap back into reality' as well?

What was it like when you first started out.. when you pulled together your first couple of recordings?
Did you or do you still cringe when you hear them? I'm part of a group just starting out and everything just seems so daunting.. I'd have to move cross country just to have a serious start.. I don't know if you ever doubted your talents.. but was everything just as difficult starting out for you?

I'd love to be a part of making music but it seems like it's not realistic to have dreams anymore..
