I believe I saw Shinedown songs being misused on myspace- I followed a link on another website to someone's band's page, where he claimed I would hear his band covering Shinedown. I believe the recording is actually Shinedown. They have the song Fly From the Inside listed as "Stuned". It is the exact same length as SHinedown's recording of Fly From the Inside, and sounds exactly like it. There is no way to report copyright infringement or imitation on myspace unless you are the copyright holder. I was just trying to find a way to let someone know who can look into this. I find it highly offensive that someone would basically try to "steal" a song like this..

The other 2 songs are Lost in the Crowd and No More Love. This is a blatant rip from Leave a Whisper, it is in no way a "cover". I hope this goes above and beyond copyright infringment. It's one thing to make a "tribute" and another to claim someone else's work as your own.

Either way, to claim someone else's music as your own is wrong and illegal. That's someone else's art. Their hard work. Blood, sweat, and tears, and someone has the nerve to claim it as their own?

I can't listen to it, so I don't know if it's true, but if it is, that's SO wrong. I'd like to request that no one go leave them nasty comments or messages. I've sent this on to the proper people. Let's let them take care of it.

that is really just messed up that someone would try to pass it off as their own songs. good thing SHINEDOWN has a good fanbase and someone saw this. This is just too much can't wait to hear what happens to the idiot that tried to rip off SHINEDOWN.

Agreed. With all of it. I just hope that no one said anything to them that would make them take it down. Either way, it's probably been seen by now, but I think this is definitely a case for Atlantic to take care of and not rabid fans.
