This is one of my favorite pictures of Brent.
It was taken in August 2007 at the Marshfield state fair. It was a beautiful clear summer night. All the stars in the sky were shining so bright! It was the first time I heard him tell the star story, about Granny, so touching......  It was an amazing show that inspired me to write this poem... Dusk to Dawn Look to the sky, spellbound You'll see, light sparkling white Glowing down on thee Loves luminous night's serenity Dancing amidst darkness Glistening so bright One timeless miracle poised To give hope forthright Now eternal star shines Throught passions eyes Such aspiring presence Spiritual essence divine Behold the light, actualize Unwritten words held true Heart lost now and again For gifts of blessing ensued |
