Haha don't even bring up the Billboard awards! That was so lame. However, that Kid Rock/Nickelback/Billy Gibbons rendition of Tush was probably worth the pointless two hours.

I usually don't watch those shows. I mean, unless someone I truely like is on it, which never really happens. Plus, there is too many commericals for my liking. LMAO!
my guess is that they arent nominated for anything with mtv because mtv doesnt know what good music is, if Shinedown is goin to get an award its gonna be something that matters like billboard or a grammy... ever since 45 shinedown has been on the badside of mtv so i doubt that to change.
bwahaha i have a personal vendetta against mtv....they wouldn't play i'm staring down the barrel of a 45 when shinedown brought it to the table, but when the red hot chilli peppers bring "i'm looking down the barrel of a hot metal 45" its completely okay...fuck that shit man nothing against the peppers but if mtv is gonna let one band bring that to the table they don't need to fuck over another band...thats bull shit...

i completely agree with that reasoning, but you have to remember MTV does everything based upon money, thats why they dont play music anymore and thats why its basically just another version of E! and MTV would make more money by playing the chili peppers uncut then they would cut up because RHCP has such a large fan base
Shinedown at the time was an unknown band and the profit wouldnt change much with them by taking out the obscenity (if you can even call it that)
