this song is apparently a live acoustic track from the album masters of horror 2

im downloading it now but its very slow, i wish i could help support the boys but its album only i dont wanna buy the whole cd off itunes for one song

well i hate sayin it but this song isnt that great to me, just not gettin me lyrically, and after listening to it its just not as good as other sd songs

They probably didn't write it

but i got the masters of horror soundtrack when it came out so i have the songs from it if anyone is interested

well im not sure whats on it but it wouldnt hurt to have it, i already got the sd one so i dont need that one, but the rest i wouldnt mind having

..Jasin stated that it is indeed, an old song written by Brent and Tommy Simms. Thus, the rumors about it not being written by at least one of the members of Shinedown are false (which includes the previous rumors about it being a Static-X cover; all they do is share the same song title). However, it was written before Shinedown formed, so I guess that technically, it wasn't written by Shinedown, but Brent and a guy named Tommy Simms as said. Nevertheless, I'm quite fond of the song.

yea i know i don't always think they are accurate either, but i did come across another good site called: songmeanings.net, where people can put in there own meaning of the songs from alot of bands, there are some very interesting ones for Shinedown, like alot of people on there agree that Beyond the Sun is a love song....

I dig this tune. Great lyrics, awesome riffs, and raw vocal power. This gets two thumbs up.
