am i the last to know that the guys are nominated for 'song of the year/rock' for "burning bright"? It is in vegas and will be aired live on NBC on the 19th of December. I've already been told they will be there at the award show. woo-hoo!!! How AWESOME will (not would) it be WHEN they win!
Basically bands get nominated for these awards based on how many times their song was played on radio in the past year. To even be nominated is pretty cool because it means your song was one of the top 5 played songs on the radio in the past year. So good for Shinedown & "Burning Bright"!! With so many songs out there, being one of the top 5 most played songs is a pretty big deal. Sweet!!

Im glad they got nominated and im glad its burning bright. First time I heard it in concert, I got choked up and couldnt sing along with it. Yeah, im a sissy. Big deal
