I don't really know why everyone is making such a big deal about jasin not being in the band anymore. I mean seriously, its not as if he's the best guitarist in the world or something. I don't know who nick perri is but I have only read good things about him. The bottom line is that Brent IS Shinedown and as long he's still there snging his heart and soul out, thats all that matters

I take it you've never been to a show? If you had, you wouldn't be wondering why it's such a big deal. People here regard Shinedown as nothing less than family.

I see the board still has its fair share of random pop up attention whores. Why post something that would obviously attract negative attention? Cause mommy and daddy didn't hug enough. You know nothing about the dynamics of someones love of music, or a particular band. It's the sum of whole, that draws you in. The beatles without John? Hmm. Seems history has taught us, if you change the recipe it just doesn't feel the same.

Ouch that's a little insulting. There was never just one member in Shinedown that made them great to everyone here. They all have something that's special that made stand out from the eachother. When put together they SHINE to make one hell of a team, not to mention some amazing music....

WRONG! Brent is NOT Shinedown, he like the others is part of the whole. You ever look at the fucking album sleeves? Notice that Brent does not get all the credit. No place does is say Brent is God and is the be all end all. Jasin writes his own guitar parts. His heart and soul are poured into every note and cord that flys from him. Now, sum other dude, who cares who it is, will be stealing his art, playing in front of 1,000s Jasin's new music. That's what the big fucking deal is. )O(-D.
