Hey, i made this topic so everyone can share what we the fans wish for the next album...

My Ideas/Requests:
1. I wish we get more "Solos", that are long not something quick used as a filler... (Tough job ZACH)

2. "Collaboration" like what Theory Of Deadman and other bands do, like on So Happy when Brent was backing there, Something like a Brent Smith/Myles Kennedy Song, that can be the best song ever, if brent and myles do something together.

3. Back to the old sound like LAW AND UAS, but still branching out with different types of music...

I hope anyone from the band reads this... Feel free to post guys...

Eh with the LAW and UAT thing. I say branch off to a tone that defines the new era of Shinedown. But make it so it doesn't sound like LAW or UAT. TSOM is what they are remembered for, as hardcore fans maybe we don't see that, but in the big picture that's just how it seem. But I think Zach and Eric and Barry and Brent are the new era of Shinedown. So a sound Sound of Madness-like would be fine to help define them. Experimenting and keeping a true sound are important. And I don't like collaborating at all, you're not going to collaborate live so why in the studio? Unless it's like a C-Side track.

they do collaborate live, Brent already does with Aaron Lewis (Staind), and Shaun Morgan (Seether), Brent even did an acoustic cover for Alice in Chains with Shaun, anyway it could at least be a track or even an extra...

Plus If they branch out, I hope it wont be "radio friendly", Shinedown lost respect of many people with the many radio friendly songs on SOM...

Yeah but radio friendly is good, you get exposure plus their songs would be cut up to be radio friendly, LSD was tremendously cut up. Trivium for example. INCREDIBLE BAND, not radio frendly at all, they count on touring, if they didn't they'd be huge, they're great but they can't be known, they can't maxamize their potential. They're easily some of the best modern day guitarists.

I definitely like the idea of Brent and Myles doing a song together! That would sound sooo great! Two of the best singers I know...along with Jared Leto.

I am all for the guitar solos! Zach and Eric are extremely talented! Same with Brent! Maybe Barry could have a drum solo
