Can we all stop bitching about this, shinedown is great with or without jasin, Zach & Nick are awesome, Jasin was awesome. We have 3 great albums, it doesnt matter who is in the band they still sound good!

I don't think Jasin is coming back for awhile because it would be unfair for someone who just joined after Jasin was in trouble and gets dropped out after Jasin heals back. If it was so then I think that guitarist would have been announced in the band as a temporarily replacement till Jasin gets back on his feet. When did you get the sudden idea that Jasin is coming back? Why do you have to add conspiracy behind it? All bell did was updating the status of Jasin and for me whether Jasin is joining or not, I would like to know how he is doing. Then a rumor showed up about Jasin joining SOIL, and it turned out to be false. How does that mean that somebody is trying to not let Jasin in. Jasin is my favorite guitarist ever and I want him to get back, but he was replaced and the band's full. Although Shinedown would have a better and deeper sound with three guitarists like bell said before. And I have read most of Bell's posts, she doesn't seem against Zach, (although he is causing all the issues :P, Kidding). I think Zach is awesome and I like Shinedown with two guitarists like in the Save Me acoustic with Zach and Nick.

Just because Jasin is better doesn't mean he's ready to be in a rock band again. Neither you or I understand the pressure and pain of a rock band. I know it comes at a cost. That these guys go out there everyday, putting it all on the line, just to entertain us. They shed blood, sweat, and tears, for you, for me, for everyone. Why would you want to throw Jasin back into the storm? I think you, need to think about him, and not about yourself! Cool, you want Jasin back in Shinedown, and I'm sure alot of people do, but maybe he's not ready. Put yourself in his shoes. And about replacing the "weaker" guitarist. Do you realize how stupid you sound? It doesn't work like that. There is no weaker guitarist. And please, asshole, have some respect for Zach and Nick, as well as Brent, Barry, and Eric. Go read Bell's recent posts and you'll know where I am coming from. As far as causing controversy and you going nuts with vulgarity that shows how stupid you are. Act like an adult and carry a conversation without acting like an idiot. Bell posted that Jasin is healed and she mentioned Atlantic and Zach. Why has she been posting all these Jasin threads then? Like Jasin is still here. Answer me that? By the way Shinedown was Brent and Jasin and Barry and this is the new Shinedown which is fine but just remember what Jasin has been through the last couple years. I'm happily married with 2 kids and if that ended along with my job, my passion, I would be lost. Jasin has been through too much to be shut out.

Well then, why didn't one of you tell Jasin all traces of him have been removed from the album? Why didn't one of you tell him his photo is not on the record, but the photos of the new guys, who didn't contribute one fucking note to the record are? No, By the way Brad contributed in some songs and preformed with Shinedown tons of shows... Don't you read? Even the name of Shinedown was inspired of a painting in Brad's house. Shinedown was formed by Brent and Brad.

I think there might be posts by bell that could in someway be against Atlantic, but can you quote the posts by Bell against Zach.

I really miss the old Shinedown, but like Heinerken said that this is Shinedown like it or stop listening to it. And to be honest the new Shinedown playing the old songs is the same in sound... So when we Shinedown fans keep arguing and blaming people for no reason (I did before and trust me I was completely wrong) is not gonna get Jasin back. Which is not gonna happen unless Shinedown becomes a 3 guitarists band or one guitarist leaves (NOT DROPPED OUT). So accept Shinedown and get used to it.

I think what we all need to do is just light up a big fat joint and pass it round the group. Come on now, everybody, take a looong drag of the peace pipe!

Ok I may be new to the board but that doesn't mean I'm new to this band so I'm going to voice my opinion.

Shinedown is different, yes. No denying that. Whether it's better or worse is your opinion but the fact is it is different. BANDS CHANGE. It's just what happens in most bands, and you can't change it. Brad WAS the bassist, Jasin WAS the guitarist, but the keyword is WAS. Enjoy what you have, Nick Eric and Zach. They are all amazing and important to the band. Guys, we can't change things, Shinedown is what it is, and frankly I'm very happy with it, and always have been.

Now here'es the issue I've seen. Several people want Jasin back, and that's fine, but that's also kind of a slap in the face to Nick and/or Zach. Especially the comment about Jasin replacing one of the two. Look, Jasin is gone, whether that be permenant or temporary we don't know, but right now he's not with the band

Be happy with what you've got, it's still an amazing band with or without Jasin.

What a shame. We go on and on, never appreciating the things we love, because we're too busy analyzing it, until we've destroyed what made us love it in the first place. I love this music. It's guided me through some of the darkest moments of my life. No joke. This album is no different, I thank Shinedown for the help. And I refuse to allow the negativity of others hinder the fact I love this music. To be honest, I couldn't give a fuck less who wrote it or who recorded or blah blah, I care about the feeling I get when I hear it. Let it be people. It is what it is. So sit back, relax, and get lost in this amazing album that was made for us.

I'm not trying to cause a revolution on here and I have and always been a Shinedown fan from day 1 as long as Brent Smith is in Shinedown. I didn't mean any disrespect toward Zach and I already apologized to him if it came out wrong. I was simply commenting on the things Bell has been posting. Go click on her name and it will show you all her recent posts. I love the new record just like I will love every song Shinedown writes and sings, but you can't tell me that if you were in a band and you've been through as much as Brent and Jasin have been through together that you wouldn't care if he's there or not. Go listen to Call Me and tell me that Brent didn't write that for his brother Jasin. That song will tell you how much they mean to each other and i'm sure Brent is missing a piece of that magic without him. Everytime I hear Call Me I will think of what Jasin has been through the last 2 years. I guess i'm alone then because i don't know how you can love Shinedown and not care about the people who wrote the music and play it. If it wasn't for the people in the band you wouldn't be feeling the things you are. Believe me I know what you mean because I feel it too. What if Brent left Shinedown? He's just a person in the band and he would tell you that himself. Bullshit -it wouldn't be the same. It's also bullshit that anyone blames Brent for this, theres no way he had anything to do with this and he does practice what he preaches on stage. Sevendust has 7 albums now and their own label. After their 4th record, one of the guitarists ,Clint Lowery, who helped start the band left on his own to start a band with his brother. Needless to say, that band never took off and they recently came out with their 7th album. Guess what, they took Clint back because he was one of the original members and he was one of their brothers who helped start the success. The other guitarist, Sonny Mayo, was a great guitarist who did a great job for them while Clint left. I recently saw them and they were better than ever. I see a pattern here(fuck Atlantic). Shinedown needs to sell a shitload of records to buy out their contract and move labels. In the meantime i'm going to enjoy Shinedown for what it is because as long as Brent is there I will be too. No disrespect to Zach and Nick.

I must admit i've been watching all of this unfold . Being a friend or "Insider" since the start of this band Most of you . and by most i mean almost all . Jasin did not get credit on this album because he simply didn't write any of the songs. Go ahead . Email him and ask him . One thing Jasin does not do is LIE . I know this . ive known Jasin longer than all of you . Except Bell of course. ive also been to shows where "I4C" was . funny how some people who make the biggest fuss can be the same that contributed to Jasin's illness . and then make a fuss. Nick Perri was ASKED by Brent to come play . Zach Myers joined this band in 2005 and if it wasnt for Zachula some of your favorite SD shows would not have happened as for he pulled these boys out of MANY binds and Zachary still remains friends with Jasin AND Brad Stewart . Also Eric Bass whom ive only met once , is a TREMENDOUS talent whom also BRENT asked to join Shinedown .
Also Nick Perri and Zach Myers both got record deals at a VERY young age "Shinedown2237" so to say one is a less talented fiddle player than the next is a plain stupid remark . And also you never know it may be like a Clint Lowery Situation , Jasin may be back next record. or the next. The new record is truly amazing . So the stupid negative comments to Brent,Barry,Zach,Nick,Or Eric . are plainly said "Stupid" and you kind of look like a cry baby . this is a board about a BAND not to talk shit about them .
