Wow, up to 100 tracks on some songs, and orchestras on 4 songs! That's going to be very interesting. It's also good to read that he's happy with his son and all is well, and also very good to have him refer to Jasin as being on a "leave of absence"..."not necesserily gone from the band".....

Also, promising to see him mention overseas. COME TO ENGLAND! I BEG OF YOU! =D

I have a good feeling that Jasin will be coming back to the band in the not to distant future. He'll probably just show up on stage one day on the road, when he's ready.

I'm pretty sure Brent could do a pretty damn good job of running the country..........

"A 20-piece orchestra was used on four of the songs."

Hm... I'm not so sure this is good news... but I'll take it.

Also, Lyric Santana Smith? That's one wild name, just leave it to Brent with that one.

Why would a 20 pc. Orchestra be bad news? Not that everyone will agree but GNR did it with November Rain, Deep Purple did it, Foo Fighters did it, Metallica did it, Neil Young ,Frank Zappa, Moody Blues, Jethro Tull... man, now that I think of it ALOT of rock bands have used orchestra and it can sound friggin' great! Just my opinion but I am pretty excited to hear those songs with orchestra Smiler

Maybe it fits all of those bands, but when I think of SD, I think of 4 guys playing 4 instruments. Of course for albums, it's always way more than that, but an orchestra seems a bit much.

Us and Them had it right. Plain ol' rock and roll. Though of course LAW was layered beyond belief, so I guess it could go either way...

I guess you have a point there. When you start throwing too much ingredients in an already good thing you can ruin the core components that made it special just as it was. I hope, as I am sure you do, that it sounds INCREDIBLE!!!
