I heard Shinedown play a new song at X Fest and I was curious if that meant that soon there would be a new Cd out. I hope my assumption is correct!!!

Which X-fest? The last show SD had was in Rolla, MO and they did play a song from the forth coming album...and when I asked them might be releasing the album, they said it will not released until beginning of next year. I know that's sad to hurry but it will so be worth the wait.

i think that there will be one coming out soon

My cousin said that she heard yesterday on the radio June 8th was the date they had for the release but that doesn't seem right to me. But she says that's what they said... seems too soon... but I don't know.

That could be the release of the dvd..who knows...but the boys have been in and out of the studio and don't have all the songs tracked. That and they don't have a bass player so...we'll see. I doubt they will be releasing a cd June 8th.

Good thought... it could have been the DVD and she just heard wrong.. I know it didn't sound right for the Cd but I thought I would post it and see what others thought... yeah, she maybe have heard wrong, she's kinda crazy anyway,..

if thats teh wait for the DVD i'll be pissed, lol im dying for the DVD, but i dont want to wait any longer!!! i seriously check every day on youtube to see if a fan has posted new footage of a live performance lol. But thats too short for a CD release, last time i heard the boys were much further then expected but unless they are already done recording then they wont have it released by then cuz mixing and editing takes a while, same with distribution but i wouldnt be surprised if we saw the CD in Sept.

I heard from other boards they are 15 songs into it already. So I guess it could be true, but it does sound short. And I would like to think that if that were true they would tell their biggest fans on the forum now.
