I'm looking for people who are SERIOUS about promoting Shinedown. The boys give so much to us, as fans, and unfortunately, very few people seem willing to give back. I've recently deleted most of the people on the street team because there were over 200 members and very few who participated. I feel that the boys deserve WAY better than that, so I did what was necessary. NO ONE was banned, so if you're committed to promoting the band and willing to follow the "rules" that have been set up, you can join or join again. This IS NOT a way to get free stuff to stockpile in your house/room/closet/whatever. Anything that you get is meant for promotion purposes. I know I've gotten behind on sending stuff out and such, but I'm willing to brave the horrors of the post office for people who WANT to promote.
Again, if you want to join, you're welcome to, but remember that this is FOR THE BAND and we all expect you to work. I believe that if everyone works as a team, we can make this work smoothly.

Yeah, what she said

There's a whole forum on there that covers it, but I realized that no ne can see it because of the settings that I have on the board. I'm going to work on that when I get a chance. If it doesn't work, I'll post it all here. Right now, I'm going back to bed.

Great Idea! I would love to be part of this.... how much time/work are we talking? I never do anything half-ass, but I'm busy going to school full-time, working on the weekends and training. I wanna help promote the band more here in NY, It disappoints me they don't tour here very often.

I will be joining back up again. After it switched from the MSN one I never joined back up. But I'm definitely up for promoting the boys. I'll try my best
I'm a band nerd, but it's okay cuz Jasin said he is too! lol

I've been a Street Teamer for couple years now, it ain't that fucking hard. I'm busy too. I work full-time, go to college, take care of a mini-farm and a husband and 5 dogs, I work out at a gym every day, volunteer at the animal shelter and after hurricanes, meditate, plot Astrology charts, cast spells, howl at the moon, tell fortunes, ROCK my fucking ass off at live shows and I still find time for Street Team activities.
Shinedown has given us so much through their music and their love, nothing I could ever do, no matter how difficult the job, or how time-consuming, could ever compare to the gift they have given me. I could give my life, my soul, and still it would not be enough. How 'bout y'all?
The basic expectation is for everyone joined to work. I don't want to have 300 people with like 4 people working. When you do something, let us know. It's realyl simple, and you don't have to spend your every waking hour doing team stuff. That's not rational, really. I'm doing the work/school/life thing, so I know that it's hard, but it can be done. Donna's a prime example of that. She does SO MUCH that it shocks even me. I'm glad that she's part of the team. By no means do I expect everyone to do as much as she does, but it would be nice. I just thing that if you're joining the team, it's only fair that you WORK and LET US KNOW. I think that's one of the most important things. You can go out and bust your ass on a daily basis, but if you don't let us know, it's pointless.
We post tasks as suggestions/guideliens, but originality is rewarded.I just think that it's only fair that the people on the team be willing to give back to the band in the form of promotion, you know? I hope that answers stuff for everyone. If not, let me know.
