Hi everyone, since it's been a year since we had the mafia shirts I was wondering if anyone else is interested in Boardie shirts round 2. I'll be in charge this time since I'm bringing up the idea. I have a suggestion in mind that I'll share if others think having the shirts again is a good idea. Then we'll see if we wanna go with the idea, make some changes, or use something totally different if someone has a better idea. I'm not sure if this is going to be economically possible since the amount of each shirt depends on the orders & if there's not a lot of orders it's not worth it because the price'll be too high.

Just so ya know if we end up going through with this I'll order the shirts from a website instead of getting them made at a place like Liz did. I had a very good experience with this site, not to mention I have a coupon that expires in the middle of May.

I set this up 6 months ago & we had submissions followed by voting which went very well. We actually combined two different designs to get the final product. I'm all up for a contest.

Just so ya all know, the site that was used when I did this somewhere else was Custom Ink...and that's where I have a coupon to. And pick the design lab option on the homepage to create your own design. If we use this site the coupon expires May 20, so the order would have to be placed by then. By order I mean design picked & everyone who's buying one woulda had to email me his/her order. And this coupon will make it a lot easier to allow the winner to get a free shirt without having to jack up the price of everyone else's to accomodate this.

I'm all up for submissions. Just to make this fair so no one else can see each other's ideas, email them to me at americntrewsertide@hotmail.com and make sure to state your boardie name either in the subject or the message. I don't have a deadline yet, probably should me the middle to end of April, especially if we use Custom Ink.

Guess I should clarify how it's gonna work. First there's the contest for a design. This will end the middle-end of April (I'll come up with a date soon, by the end of this week, & start a new thread about the contest so there's one thread about it). Then a winner will be picked & orders can be taken (or if you want to order now if price/design doesn't affect whether you're gonna order or not feel free to email me your order at the address above). Once I have all orders in (final date for orders will be the beginning of May) I'll place the final order. The price depends on the number ordered plus shipping (I think the rates are going up soon). Just so ya know international shipping will cost more, sorry. I think that's it, if I forgot something either I'll think of it or someone will ask me a question since it was something I shoulda mentioned.
