Shinedown this year has played a total of 2 shows in Michigan, one of them being a 5 hour drive from me the night after the one i went to.

1 in an entire year, it seems that Michigan must not be a band favorite.
In Ohio, they have played 5 times so far this year, and still have 2 announced shows. So 7, 7 shows in a year.

I am a full time college student, who doesnt have alot of money. I can afford to spend 30 on a ticket, and 30 on gas, and what 10 bucks on food. To go to a concert in Detroit or even flint. I cant afford to drive for three hours, and then get a room, i dont have the time for that.
And im sure its 90% of the people at the ohio shows are from Ohio not michigan. So that means were getting fucked from seeing them.

Is there a reason why were getting skipped?
I know its not the the richest city, but they seem to sell out, and get packed. Hockey, Baseball, Football, Basketball, and everyone concert i see it always packed. So it cant be that.

Id love to talk to the atlantic booking, im not blaming shinedown. They dont say hey we want to play in detroit, its the shitty booking agency.

Don't feel alone. They don't seem to care for New Mexico either, one show, all year. It Sucks!

a different band i like went 4 years without coming to my state. these things are normal, they can't be everywhere.

Well well well! I can top this all lol. Hate to be a whining little brat but they have NEVER been to Australia before, and they seem to go to Europe a fair bit...what 3 times now? So be thankful you have seen at least one Shinedown concert. Seeing them next year thankfully and even still...since this country is gay with where they chose concerts (music festival in my case) to be I have to travel on a plane down to Brisbane (2-3 hour plane trip) and pay for accommodation also paid $150 for the festival ticket and also have money to spend so yeah I feel for you but I don't know I think I got it worse lol.

I know a lot of companies use album sales to kind of judge where to go...and previous concert turnout
