I just need to ask a personal favor of everyone. I know there are a lot of rumors floating around right now, some very true, some not so much. I'm just asking that for now, you keep discussion about them to a minimum to avoid prematurely unnecessary drama. You might think that you're special because you have some priviledged, inside knowledge; but when you come to a public forum and post it, its no longer priviledged and inside, and you are no longer special. You're just disrespecting the wishes of the band you claim to love. Please let any rumors be validated by a bandmember or label rep or management before you freak out or spread them.

its a nice reminder to those of you who discuss Shinedown outside of the boards becasue if u start to tell everyone then word will travel and we would rather people find out by the label or the band members but not just as a rumor.

it's already on other boards... that's where I found out... as for the drama... well damn.. look at this place.... it's not a really 'active' place..... it's not like the Creednet days.. with 40,000 members and the 'rumors' of Brian's firing flooded the board to the point of gridlock... it's not like that... like I said.. no matter what... change just makes me sad.... |

I know this might sound like a stupid question, but why can't a mod delete the imfamous thread so rumours don't fly even more (like that's even possible)? I know at other boards when big stuff like this comes up the threads that give out info get deleted.

They can. But then they get accused of "censoring" and get bitched at because every idiot in the world is entitled to freedom of speach. unfortunately.
