Everybody come in here and post how they think the video will be like. Because from what Brent said on the new update they're setting Devour's video shooting day.
For Me I like a story in a video but I think it's going to be like a well shot video of them performing devour live with the music on.

I'd like something like the Save Me video; shots of the band rocking out in between some kind of story or other scenes. And, if God loves me, Brent will have his hair like he did in the Simple Man video........

I actually liked Brent's hair like it was in LAW, with the cool goatee.I wish he'd revert to that look.

And the 45 video was pretty cool, because it had a story going on. I liked all of them so far, I'm sure they'll do a good job.

well lets hear the song before we predict the video but i just hope its not like any disturbed videos as cartoons those are so stupid..

well im pretty sure it isnt going to be a cartoon because they were setting the date to film it.

i think the video is going to be kind of political similar to BYOB by SOAD. we know this song is about ending the war in iraq so thats my guess

For my video, (haha my video) I would like the band playing in the middle of a battleground. LIke they are set up right in the middle of all the shooting (this would be a old school battle, where people actually fire at each other with sides) And have it very explicit about what the song is about. Have the soldiers on both sides shown at the end as like, children, innocents who are commanded by cruel and rich leaders in luxury. I think that would be amazing, like bullets and explosions going off right near the band and all, O I can see it now- all of it, and its amazing. You should join me in my head.

that painted a pretty clear picture in my head. awesome idea if i do say so myself.

I've been picturing a very Apocalypse Now style battleground.

i think if restlessowns' idea was made perfectly it'll be awesome. LoL we should all join him in his head.

I would like something simple yet complex video, like 45, but with some cool parts where the story matches the beat of the song, (like in 45 where Brent is slings his hair back after weting it.)

I am glad everyone likes the idea- someone should pitch it to the boys (I would give the idea up for free for a chance to be there for the shooting, haha- I'm a dreamer.)

I hope they will.... but I think they have the idea from a long time since Brent said that they were setting the date to shoot the video so I am just inferring that they already have the idea. I also read somewhere in the forums that Shinedown didn't make a video for Heroes because Brent said what's the point of wasting money on a video that wont be played.... and your idea (restlessowns) is kind of expensive. So it might not happen. But you never know. I hope the video clip is like your idea. I already joined you in your mind lol... I can see Shinedown on a stage rocking it out with Devour in the middle of a battlefield with Kids running, soldiers, tanks, warhawks... lets not get carried away.... You can do something like linkin park's shadow of the day music video but instead of chester (singer) walking in war... you're all on stage and the war is around you... Anyhow any thing that Shinedown does I'll like.
