So I was thinking to myself before...''Shinedown are gonna be coming to Australia next year. So what should I get signed by them?'' which made me think what should I get them to sign? If I get a shirt signed it will fade well not unless I don't wear it. Then I thought my SOM CD case but then I thought it could break. Then I remembered someone on this forum said they like getting their concert tickets signed...too small I would probably lose it lol. SO! What do you get signed? Any pictures would also be great. Also another question in regards to that...do the boys write little messages if you ask them?

I haven't had anything signed by SD, but normally, I get my ticket stub signed. Because if there's ONE thing I will not lose that I could get signed, it's that. I keep all my ticket stubs together in a box. Recently I got the singer of In Flames to sign my ticket. Signing a CD case works too, though. "It could break" is a rather dumb thing to think, IMO. Anything COULD break, but you just gotta take care of it. I wouldn't know about the pictures, that would be nice though. (I've never done it), and I'd assume they would write a message if they weren't like, SUPER TIRED or something. |

I myself had Brent, Zach, and Eric sign a drumstick that I caught from Barry, as well as a ticket from that night. I also won a radio contest for the Stimulate This! tour and got a poster signed by them and all the other bands on the tour. However, my favorite thing is a picture that I took at one of the concerts signed by them just because it was something that I did. To be honest, I think that your best bet is to take the cd insert and try to get that signed because it is small so it wont get messed up. Also, it wont break if you just take care of it.

Ahh thank you all for your suggestions. I guess if I did take of them it wouldn't break. Although I really liked the idea of them signing the drum stick. Oh I completely forgot about posters XD I would definitely get that signed and I also liked the CD insert idea.
I wonder...how patient are the guys lol. Because I would totally get CD insert signed and poster. I have been to a number of concerts just none of the bands bother to stay back after the concert to sign things...which sucks because I would have loved Alter Bridges and Disturbed's signatures. ----------------------------------------- Everyone is always pointing their fingers at me! I dunno about Alter Bridge, but Disturbed isn't very hard to meet. Just go to the concert a few hours early, you should get to meet them then if you're lucky.

take the SOM of madness booklet and have it signed. i've had each of my shinedown booklets signed by them and they all have stayed very well.
so if the case breaks you're not out an autograph. you can switch the booklet, cd, back label, etc to a new case. |

If you go back by the trailers and wait around a bit, they(Or atleast a member or two) should come out at some point, that's what I did, and quite a few others I know did. |

although i've not met them i know that alter bridge are always willing to sign stuff and pose for photo's, well at least they do when they're in the UK

But anything else I might score at the concert like apparently Zach throws his bandanna into the crowd I may catch that or anything else. The white SOM cover looks really awesome signed. I bought the CD at the show because I didn't bring my copy of it (honestly don't know where it is) and have it from iTunes but it's my favorite of all the things I have signed.
Barry and Zach signed a picture of my tattoo which I pondered about for quite some time because it felt weird and even though they both signed it, I still think it is kinda creepy. Did you make them sign all this stuff at the same time? You think they would have a problem with me giving lets say...a shirt, CD insert and a my concert ticket and flight ticket lol. You think they would get annoyed? BY THE WAY! Haha, no. The only time I didn't meet them before or after the show (hang out by the buses at least one of them will come out and talk) was in Calgary.
They were in the casino in Vegas after the show and I talked to Barry for quite some time. Didn't have the guts to talk to Zach then but it got easier with time. I WAS greedy and frankly looking back I feel really bad about it but asking them to sign a lot of things really would depend on the amount of people around I would think. I have The Sound of Madness signed, it is the 2nd release, Nick Perri is not in the pictures. I also have a couple of ticket stubs signed by various members.

Lovely! I shall do that...it's going to be really hard finding their tour bus though XD Considering their going to be at a music festival when they come here lol.
