I second this idea. Only problem is Skynyrd already did a CMT Crossroads, guess it'll have to be through some other way.

I would actually like to hear him sing with Ed Sloan of Crossfade. Sloan is very talented himself. He is the only person I know of that plays a seven string guitar, but his vocal ability is really great. I love to listen to him sing cold. A song, maybe even a tour, together would be awsome.

It's been done before, but I'd like to personally see him sing with Jesse Hasek of 10 Years. My #1 and #2 bands, and two very different, but both extremely moving voices.

Korn Plays with 7 strings. And the band Behold...The arctopus plays with 12 strings. Shiner, have you ever heard Ed Sloan live? His stuff is a lot different live, dosn't even sound like the same guy. I heard an acoustic version of "cold" and it's different.

He is a very talented musician...however, as others have said, Trapt and Korn both play with 7 strings (interesting, as Trapt's guitarist really is not very good...and I'm not convinced that Korn's guy can solo much either), and John Petrucci, guitarist of Dream Theater, plays a 7 string if he feels like it. And man, can he use it. Best guitarist I've ever seen, without a doubt.

I don't think he sounds all that different on the acoustic version of "Cold." Actually, if anything, I think he sounds about 10x better...he has an excellent voice, and that version really brings it out. Now, as for guitar ability...I dunno. I learned how to play "Invincible" on guitar in a half hour. And I'm not very good at all.

As for who Brent should sing with...man, I dunno...Lizzy from Halestorm, loved it when they sang together at a concert I went to. And their version of Shed Some Light is AWESOME. I too would like to hear Jasin do some singing...that'd be badass.

Oh, and hello! This is my first actual post here, although I've been reading threads on this forum for a while now. =)
