Shinedown has a Stripped segment circulation among the radio stations. In it they cover U2's, One. Do a damn good job at it too.

Hell yea, Shinedonw's cover of One is way better than the original, Shinedown's is so beautiful. Smiler

What an awesome job on that song. I have heard it numerous times before but never really paid attention to it when it was U2. I like Shinedown's cover much better.

I agree, when I told my hubby that SD covered it, he said that no one should cover that song - then he heard it. Now it is definately his fave version! Smiler

im not sure if anyone watched the grammy's where U2 played One and some black chick came out and sing it with them. It would have been soooo much cooler to see Brent come out and sing it with him .as for SD's version being better, im not sure if its any better. but it is just as good.
