In the booklet it says...

"i just saw hailey's comet, she waved"

but it doesnt sound like he is saying "she waved" at all

is he actually saying that and im just listening wrong, or is he saying something different?

I think there was another thread on this somewhere. Theres actually a few other mistakes in the book if you read through it. I know it definately NOT "she waved". Nowhere in that part of the song can I hear a W, V, or D sound. Im pretty sure its shooting.

now i never heard anything but "she waved," i definitely here the W, but it sounds like the "ved" fades out, but i don't hear "shooting." I don't hear the t. I'm just gonna stick with what the insert says.

I agree with this and also, lyrically, she waved is far better than shooting, in opinion.

seriously? you cant hear "She Waved?" its not shooting, no where close...you can hear the W part perfectly...

I think I got a different CD from everyone else lol. Cuz every time I listen to that song I try to hear the "She waved"... but I cant =[

well when i first listened to it before i had the cd i thought it sounded like shooting, but wasnt sure

after getting the CD booklet, i looked and it says she waved, but i just do not hear that at all

even listening to him sing it live on youtube it still doesnt sound like she waved

honestly it sounds like "shoolee"

which is alot closer to shooting than she waved

From the first time I heard it before the album came out I heard "she waved." Shooting really does not match lyrically like Ray said.

I just say haleys comet she WAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVED, it doesnt rhyme with Place much so thats probably why you thing that.

You don't have to trust the lyrics websites cuz they all copy from each other, go one Shinedown.com, click music, and on the tracks preview thing there's a column titles lyrics with buttons that open u a page with the lyrics. Now these are a 100% correct.

Not necessarily. Ive known of plenty of bands where the website's lyrics were wrong because somebody else interpereted them.

It's one of those southern things where one syllable words become two syllable words. Are you telling me that you guys have never heard that?

It is waved, it's just stretched and sounds like two syllables.
