She was smart, she was fine
She was everything,
And once she was my everything.

Sometimes life imitates art,
It goes sometimes right from the start.

She only stood 5 foot 1,
Blonde hair and blue eyes,
One day yeah she met a man
And he said he had the world in the palm of his hand.
I'll take care of you, everything will be all right.
I'll be with you every moment, day and night.
Yeah right.

So one day he walked in a room,
And wouldn't you know he had this funny device.
On one end there was a needle,
And on the other end was the end of her life.
Yeah that's right, yeah that's right

But you didn't have watch her cry,
You didn't have to watch her die,
Right before your very own eyes.
You didn't have to put her in the ground
You didn't have to watch as she never made another sound....

I know now, it's not who you are
It's who you know
And I see clearly now, which way to go
I remember the way I fell from above
And I recall the way I was

The words change though. The two shows that I saw...last week?...they both had similar words, but there were definitely different parts. It's one of those ever changing Brent things, I guess. Wink

Wow, that's really intense, I love the guitar. This could hail back to LAW if recorded right.

That is amazing. I remember him doing that in Louisville, just not exactly how it went. I didn't know what it was at the time but I was amazed by it nonetheless.

I remembered this from Louisville's show.

Once Brent sang, "Somebody Save Me", it gave my chills.

Just an amazing intro to "Save Me."
