Sound of Madness is up to 14th on the Mainstream Rock charts, up from 21st. This is its third week on the chart so all is well. Second Chance is still decently placed on both rock charts (7th on one, 11th on the other I think) but is now, obviously, slipping down.
The Sound of Madness is back up to 63rd on the album charts after slipping down to 74th last week. That's a whole 11 places better, fact fans. Anybody (Shotwench?) got access to the latest sales figures from the album? Must be close to Gold now... I really hope Sound Of Madness (the single) hits the top spot on Mainstream Rock. I'm not surprised. Sound of Madness is totally awesome wicked cool! What I am surprised by is that all my boys are do surprisingly good on the album charts (not the 200, the Hard Rock charts. I'm not going to go through 200 shitty bands/singers to find a diamond in the rough.) While that stupid Nickelback album is still topping it and just went 2x Platinum, Theory of a Deadman, their much more talented offspring, is jumped to Number and just went gold. Meanwhile, Papa Roach's latest is holding over surprisingly well, moving up from 5 to 3 in its third weekend. Shinedown jumped back into the Top Ten, and should be Gold any day now. Yes, anybody with sales figures would be lovely. Let there be rock!

Although I love any song Shinedown has ever made and will make, I do have to say that so far Sound of Madness is my favorite. Everything from the lyrics to the music is just the best to me. When it comes on the radio it puts a big smile on my face and I turn the volume all the way up to 11(loudest it goes to those who don't know) and roll down the windows for evryone to hear. I have it as my ringtone as well on full blast. I have been calling the radio stations here in Chicago requesting it as much as I can to hear it. It is such a kick ass song and I think we need to request the hell out of it to let everone else know. So that is our job to get this great song to #1 for the Shinedown guys and let them know what a masterpiece they created and always do for that matter. Who's with me?

And on the top 100 Second Chance is up to 22 and climbing. So many people I know that are not rock fans have become fans of this song and the band because of it. So yea for breaking the top 25! Maybe a top 10???

Lifeline by Papa Roach. I don't see it sticking there, but it does have The Night by disturbed and Hate My Life by Theory of a Deadman blocking them. All in good time..... Nonetheless, it will be in the top five in no time.

Just broke the top ten. I believe it is Number 7, but I'm not sure, I checked this morning. Also, breaking the Top Twenty, Mudvayne's "Scarlet Letters" and Burn Halo's "Dirty Little Girl". Oh yeah.
