Yeah, you need to meet Brenna. Maybe she doesn't understand what the songs are about, but she loves them. She can pick out Shinedown (or Brent) without even thinking. She knows that voice. She loves that voice. The VERY first thing she saw on TV was a rerun of them being on one of the late-night shows before she even left the hospital. She was only MAYBE a day old, but the sound coming from the TV got her attention and she's never looked back. She loves music more than just about anything. She gets excited when she finds out that we're going to a show. She rocks out harder than most adults when at said show. Besides, music is open to interpretation.

I totally understand what you're saying, but you don't have to understand the meaning to be a fan, you know? You can just enjoy it and love it. Granted, she doesn't say that Shinedown is her favorite, but she does love them and gets excited when a song comes on the radio. From the back seat you hear a little gasp and "Mom! It's Shinedown!" Which is usually followed by her asking when she'll get to see them again, etc.
