im quite embarassed right now as i just checked the lyrics and its not what ive been singing.

Thinking it was awesome cool couple lines.

I saw Hayleys Comet, She waved
Said Why you always runnin in flames.

Now i was thinkin wow thats some cool thought process for writing that.

Then today i look up the lyrics and see im totally wrong. Still good lines though. Maybe i shouldn't make posts that make me look a dumbass.

Now when I heard it reading these lyrics it seems correct. You should make the first misheard Shinedown lyrics and put it on YouTube. Like there is one for Alter Bridge. Just type in YouTube Alter Bridge Misheard. There will be one for Watch Your Words, it's hilarious. Everybody CHECK IT OUT!

I always thought he said I just saw Hayleys comet shooting. Does he really say she waved? Every lyrics site i look at it said shooting.

I asked what it was over on ShinedownNation, believing it WAS "she waved" and someone came back and said the booklet says it's "shooting". I was disheartened because that's possibly my favourite line i the whole song, it's awesome. Then they came back and said they double checked the booklet and actually it IS "she waved". So all is well again. =)

I always thought it was why you always running away, lol

someone had said it was shooting and i never thought it sounded close to shooting...

wow so i was right?! I just looked at the lyric sites thinkin i was a complete dumbass or hearing things they all said shooting. Good to see its others favourite line from it.
