This is probably the best thing I could hear. I hate to be "this guy".....but from what I've heard of the mixtape so far it is pretty average for sai. From what ive heard, his lyrics don't cut it for me compared to his older stuff. Dreamz is cool and all....but everyone always busts a nut over those "real hip-hop" 9th wonder sampled beats. I respect them...but they just dont have much replay value for me if the lyrics aren't incredible. Desperado is nice I guess...nothing to write home about for me. The Workin On It freestyle is amazing. Saigon sings the Blues would have been WAY better if he sang for the just hook and rapped for verses. It gets a little repetitve but I like the concept. Change The Game remix is ill....im glad they used that version of it where he uses the rappers in the hook. Pain in My Life....i cant wait to see the video but the beat has gotten boring to me. Nice lyrics though. Lames is old as hell! But one of my all time favs . Before I read Sais blog, I was thinking "What happened to songs like True Story and Contraband and Say Yes and The Corner?" (i havent heard Say No yet i cant wait!!) But I think this post and blog answered my question. I KNOW that the Greatest Story Never Told is gonna blow me away now. My favorite rapper and favorite producer putting out their best stuff ever on one CD......I'm more excited than ever!!!!!!


Sorry if i seemed negative in my review of what ive heard so far off the mixtape......im really critical with all kinds of music. I guess I just expected a little more cause weve been waiting so long!

the only good songs are 2. don't do that 4.dreams (great song) 7.sing the blues 9.nobody cares (is my fav) 10.desperado 11.international global gangstas 13.workin on it freestyle 15.pain in my life and the end of the mixtape i wasn't feelin do your thang (same rhymes)
