Does Saigon have any idea how much his true fans are salivating for new material?

Now don't get me wrong, I am an ol skooler and I know all about waiting for classic releases (anyone else remember how many times Illmatic was delayed!?!). I understand that classics take time to craft and perfect, but damn, I NEED new Saigiddy for the IPOD.

I know you said there was a mixtape on the way before the Jan 2007 release of G.S.N.T., but can you give us any more info? Release date, DJ that is putting it out, producers, etc.

I am a massive Saigon fan, but was super dissapointed with the DJ Drama tape being used as an "introduction to Saigon" for non-fans.

Please at least tell me that the new mixtape is going to be mostly new material.

Also any word on Alchemist production on the debut LP?

The new tape will be all new material, except recent tracks like "Pain In My Life", "Don't Do That" etc. This is not "Gangsta Grillz" part 2!
There's no official release date yet, you know how it goes with mixtapes! I'll let yall know. Kayslay and Clinton Sparks are hosting it... and that's all I can say right now

...I don't know if Al is gonna make the album tho.
